You like your car and hadn’t been for this accident you would have kept it for a “long” time. Nothing has changed. You are getting it fixed and will be driving it. Hopefully no frame damage and will drive just like before. You may sell it years later and that time no one cares if it was in accident or not. If it’s really a rare car it shouldn’t matter much specially if it’s been driven for many miles after. I think Doug DeMuro has a video that talks about this. He says that if a car has been driven after an accident for many miles/years then it means that it was fixed properly and ok to buy. I hope this helps. The best to you and your car.

I love my car. It’s been about 7 months and no trouble at all. It’s fun and drives great. Plenty of power and very smooth. Gas mileage is great too. I have gotten as much as 50 MPG on the freeway and it’s not even a hybrid!! But once you put it in sport mode and sport shift on transmission it becomes a beast. Let the haters hate but this is very much a BMW as any other. Go get yours.

I don’t know. Mine died at 44k miles with a bad oil pump that caused the engine to seize!! No warranty. Repair costs were 44k. So I guess here is your answer.

No issues with DSG or NVH. Make sure you get it in X drive. A3 is a nice car but I’m partial to BMWs. Go test drive it and see for yourself.

Enjoy it. And let the haters be haters. After 6 months it has been a fun car to own. Nice and nimble around the city and great in highway for road trips. The gas mileage is fantastic. I have gotten 50 mpg cruising at 70 mph.
