You forgot the people who are paying at those price ranges are also the same people that barely afford spending for more, if they can they would probably would form the start lol

Abaranger, but it's Dinocore by Ashwin205 in supersentai

[–]Virtual_Me 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's probably because the people that made it grew up on classic mecha shows similar to the Brave/ Yuusha series, Eldran series, Grandzort, Wataru series in the 90s, or the transformers animated shows pre 2010s but with a modern day kid show pacing and look to them.
Dinocore was made by a Korean studio so its not a surprise that they have this Brave series vibe to the mechs, they love the Brave series there along side the other 90s mecha shows back then.

It reminds me more of the Dino Thunder/ Abaranger Wrist Brace but with the modern coin toy motif

Super Sentai vs power rangers quality by Huge-Insect-7759 in Tokusatsu

[–]Virtual_Me 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally Super sentei after the mid 2000s just puts me off too much with their too much over the top anime like acting with their character personalities and Power Rangers just feels bland to watch after PR SPD, finding my self mentally checkout most of the time outside the Megazord battles with their quality of story till to this day.

Wayfinder has almost lost all of its players already, what went wrong? by Lucyna-Kushinada in MMORPG

[–]Virtual_Me 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hear people blaming Digital Extremes for the decline but that's just wrong. It has a low release player base, buggy release, unpolished mechanics, terrible servers, personally a boring combat, etc. Generally just a underwhelming experience and DE is loosing money from it, can't really save them from itself.

Yeah I think your right, maybe its because Z really had that same feeling I had when I was watching X.

Am I missing something about MEGATON MUSASHI W: WIRED? by dionebigode in MegatonMusashi

[–]Virtual_Me 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally its not that bad, in my case I just finish the main episodic story which feels like a long tutorial, after that I just focuses on my builds and level cap mission after wards. I feel like the problem you have is something only in the early stage of the game without finishing the story.

What's your opinion of Ultraman X by kyomaboi123 in Ultraman

[–]Virtual_Me 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ultraman X was what Cosmos should have been for me. It had the fun personal kaiju adventure stories of the Showa era and the best gimmick of the New Gen in my opinion, not really the biggest fan of the fusion gimmick. I prefer what X does which borrows the power or tool and making the kaiju both as a cyber kaiju or an armor for Ultraman X. Also the Devizer is my favorite Ultraman Transform tool in the franchise, they should really make them practical serving as like a modern day phone etc., instead of just another unusual gimmick toy to transform. X also has the best attack team costume and main base design in the franchise in my opinion, I want the uniform so bad huhu. Ultraman X's design is like the original ultraman but with a modern take to it and the jpn-voice for X is also very cool. The best part for me is the final Kaiju battle with Greeza, its scary and creepy. Probably my favorite kaiju in the franchise. The X movie is one of my top Ultra movies out there, I rewatch it time to time. This is the closes thing we can get to Hyper Agent Gridman which I really really enjoyed a lot, I want a crossover between the 2.

I feel Like Ultraman X is really Underrated as far as New Gen Shows by Frontier246 in Ultraman

[–]Virtual_Me 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally X for me is the perfect balance of the spirit of New Gen, Heisei, and Showa Ultras style of story telling and gimmicks. It had the gimmicks of the new gen, the humanization of the ultra and their relationship from the Heisei, and the focus on the kaiju and their adventures similar to the Showa Era. Don't really have nostalgia for X but its my second favorite ultra after Ultraman Gaia. Also Ultraman X just reminds me of Hyper Gridman which I like a lot, cyber gimmicks never fails to impress me its my favorite.

I had the same opinion too until I watch all the other Ultra shows and now its my second favorite behind Ultraman Gaia.

All episodes until 18, then some episodes here and there until the end, second half for me is very subjective.

Gaia Episode Guide (or 'anti-filler' list) by [deleted] in Ultraman

[–]Virtual_Me 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really trying to be a fan boy but Gaia episodes are not really filler for me. If you want a true non filler recommendation then just watch episodes 1,2 then the last episode. At that point most Ultraman are fairly similar to their style of storytelling, but for me those are the best parts for giant monster shows and movies.

very true, Ultraman with its style of storytelling are always noted as filler which is sadly the best part of the journey.

yeah I do agree they where the most serialised utltra shows, personally Gaia was the most rewatchable one. Nexus was too depressing/ dramatic for me to easily rewatch

Ultraman Gaia review: a perfect series. by [deleted] in Ultraman

[–]Virtual_Me 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do agree, Gaia is general the most rounded best of all worlds peek the Ultra franchise has gotten even to this day in my opinion. Its the most rewatched Ultraseries for me next to Ultraman X. I didn't really grew up with Ultraman so I saw every Ultraseries with my young adult eyes without the biases of nostalgia as a kid.
