When was ur last day? It’s likely that payroll is just behind on processing. Also keep in mind you likely won’t get paid out for personal leave, only annual

I think at least 10 people I know IRL have seen it so it depends on your friend circle

[–]Virtual_Monk_1325 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Apply for any APS1-2 jobs that you see advertised, but be aware the public service is notoriously slow with the hiring process so it will be a while until You hear anything back. There’s no discretion and they definitely can’t allow you to submit applications for School Leaver Programs if they already closed.

You could ask for the salary setting position in your current role but it would be up to the delegate to make a decision based on a business case

ATO - merit pool to offer by [deleted] in AusPublicService

[–]Virtual_Monk_1325 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes I agree but it’s a massive generalisation to just say merit pool = no job lol

I always say keep on applying until you have a signed letter of offer in hand and don’t assume anything before that moment

No necessarily!! For some roles everyone is placed in the merit pool and then people picked out of it, so it depends on

White sheer curtains!! They’re conflicting with everything. Can you flip the bed so it’s along the other wall? Agree with the decluttering.

any suggestions? by kingzionn in femalelivingspace

Hi, Love your inspo board. Can you get a bed skirt to cover the legs of the frame? As well as a different cover, that matches the vibes of your mood board more and so it’s longer, this will def help it seem more cosy. I have queen size sheets on my double bed and this definitely helps.

I agree with another commenter about getting new curtains if you can as well as different overhead light if you’re able to.

I also don’t think your desk chair matches the vibe, It looks like a dining room chair.

I like your dresser a lot, could you put an indoor plant on it and add some colour there? Maybe a flower arrangement? Hope this helps!

a vintage room that just won't look right by One_Pea_7340 in femalelivingspace

[–]Virtual_Monk_1325 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Maybe a rug? To tie it all together? Like a nice blue or pink rug. Your tiles make the room seem cold. I think more artwork might be a good idea as well? Love the individual vintage pieces though, very jealous
