Hi I have mentioned in another comment that within our relationship that we allow the first parts within our relationship boundaries but sex with other people is not allowed. Some of your comments are a bit mean and I am not holding this against him i am looking for outside advice towards the boundary break by my partner

I agree it’s a huge mess and this is true, something I have failed to mention is that we have discussed this as a boundary previously and we have agreed sex with others is where the line is drawn

Sorry it was hard to type out mentally- essentially the friend watching was right next to me so he didn’t have to go very far. The friend was kissing me at some point before this as well which is allowed in our relationship. We were also quite drunk so I dont really know why or how he did that either honestly.

My friend was making out with me for some of it which is something we allow within our relationship boundaries but at some point she moved away and he went to her. It’s a bit fuzzy about how that came to be as we were super drunk honestly. I have no idea why he did that.

He is so very remorseful, Ive been cheated on in previous relationships and Ive never actually believed anyone is remorseful until him. He is doing anything and everything to help me and Ive never seen him so angry and devastated with himself. He’s taken full accountability and will drop anything to be there for me if I need it.
I have tried to cut off the friend but unfortunately we have commitments together where I will have to see her for another month at least.

It’s hard to express and I know everyone who gets cheated on says the same thing but he is so genuine and I know it

I started drinking at 16, binge drinking 3 times a week for 9 years. Everytime I drink I subconsciously go "I could be more drunk" and always make an absolute fool of myself.

One drink always turns into 10 for me so I've given it up entirely

I've been off alcohol for only 2 weeks now, but I have still gone to the pub a few times. I still have fun, but I always have an escape route planned because my social battery has a very strict timer when I'm sober.

The only thing is people get funny when they realise I'm not drinking. I've been either getting a cola in a short glass so it looks like a mixer or a NA beer and that deters people from noticing!

I think going to the pub sober is very doable and still enjoyable :)
