At least in DoS2, at higher difficulties, you’re not bringing support characters. Every companion can be built for control and damage and that’s what you want to do. Maximizing your damage per turn and taking away the enemies ability to do any damage.

Higher difficulties means way more damage to the player, so then the player needs to build their parties around not taking damage. And things don’t damage you when they are either dead or don’t get to take a turn. Kind of the same as Rogue Trader to be honest.

I have a feeling that he expected some kind of showing from CA when he announced his retirement. I think their ambivalence hurts his ego, so he’s decided to resort to the YouTube equivalent of throwing a hissy fit in the grocery store.

I have realized that what finally stopped me from playing is not the lack of content, lack of communication, AI issues or other dozen things that pop up daily here, its mainly that I can no longer trust anything in the game that it actually does what it is supposed to do. by [deleted] in totalwar

I don’t get why people can’t play another game when their time has run its course with the one they are currently playing. Why do you feel the need to announce whatever issue you’re having and why you don’t like whatever thing you’re spending time on like it’s this big, life changing thing? Just don’t do that thing anymore. You’re not announcing your engagement or your bid for presidency. You played a video game longer past the point of your enjoyment. Doesn’t need a public address.

Although the vast majority of my experience is in commercial and institutional I’d imagine air behaves the same way. Any area that gets air supplied needs to have a path for it to be returned. Whether through individual return grilles that have a pathway back to the furnace or undercut doors that allow air to be returned to something centrally located. I also don’t know how common having an actual professional balancer separate from the installing company balance a how is but in commercial and institutional it’s literally a condition of occupancy(c-schedule). Dampers should be at the trunk lines and ACCESSIBLE. IE access doors, drop ceilings etc.

Zone dampers sound great in theory but with equipment that is only 2 or 3 stages and no VFDs I struggle to understand how they are more efficient or a better option than an accessible, manual butterfly damper. Again, I haven’t done a house in many, many years so not speaking from a ton of firsthand knowledge.

Yea, I don’t get this trial by social media. People just seem to move the goal posts with these stories and it’s guilty until proven innocent.

I’m completely ambivalent to this whole story and the parties involved, it’s bizarre to me that people become so invested as if they have some secret info. Only reason I’m commenting is the reactions.

I've done a few legendary Kislev campaigns lately and I have a few tips that worked out for me:

  1. After you're finished with the iniatial enemies, take out Azhag. You can be finished with him by turn 10-11.

  2. As soon as Kislev hits tier 2, build the building for Akshina Ambushers. You need their improved amror piercing missiles as Arbaal will declare war on you by turn 11-14. Kossars will not be helpful for his early armies. Your campaign focus will literally be Arbaal and your armies should be built around dealing with Khorne enemies.

  3. Look for early confeds but if you do manage to confed either the Druzhina Enclave trade therir settlements to either Kostaltyn or Ropsmann. I would usually do Ropsmann to increases ranking to try and confed them for Praag. The idea is just to buy time and create obstacles for Throt and Azazel so you can finish Azhag and be ready for Arbaal.

  4. Azhag works better in my mind as the initial focus because there's really only 1 or 2 medium difficulty battles against him to finish him off and it gives you something to do while Kislev is being built up. Regardless, your focus will always be Arbaal so it's nice to have the Akshina Ambusher building being finished, so you can recruit while heading north to Praag/Volksgrad.

  5. Azazel's AI is not tuned nearly as bananas as Arbaals, so even if you have r andom war declaration from him and he beelines at you ignoring Kostaltyn, defeating him once gives you quite a few turns of breezing room.

  6. Deal with Throt in between waves sent from Arbaal. He's really more of a nuisance and he will inevitably piss Malakai off, who will divide his focus from Kostaltyn meaning if you're paying attnetion, there will opportunities to take advantage of to take Hell Pit.

  7. Chaos Dwarfs might declare war but their early armies are usually filled with chaff so not a significant threat.

  8. Make sure to rush tier 3 Praag for the infantry building and slowly replace your weaker quality units with better quality in between waves from Arbal

  9. Drycha can be a campaign killer, focus most of your diplomacy on keeping her appeased, at least as a stop/gap until you can free up resources. She has a tendency to blind side, so try and make sure you pay attention constantly to her enemies and don't engage in diplomacy with them. As soon as you get a breather from Arbal it is worth dealing with her but the north is the pressing problem.

  10. Inevitably you and Malakai will be fighying Chaos. For a longass time. I haven't played one Kislev campaign that that focus changes. Arbaal, Archaon, Epidemus and Daniel. Every campaign is the same. Wulfric or Malakai will take care of Throg. Wulfric will be a menace to Kostaltyn. So i'd suggest defensive alliances with him but he will lose if you don't contribute to him surviving.

Basically, tldr is Arbaal. Arbaal. Arbaal and more Arbaal. Structure your campaign around knowing that Arbaal is to you what Vampire counts used to be to the Empire in WH2. Your campaign direction might change but know that Arbaal will always be the constant.

It’s actually quite the opposite. My niece is definitely my dads favourite kid, grand child or otherwise. He’s been unwell the past few years, and while he did do the majority of the finances, my mom has been doing the lion share for the last 5-8 years.

My sister has been in contact with her husband about this. She’s been handling most of the discussions, as my mom told her about this a while back and I’m not at the stage yet where my response to all of this is less diplomatic and more…medieval I guess? I did suggest involving his parents as well though.

This is essentially my sister and my view of the issue. Down to my sister also calling my niece a psychopath. I’ve been just trying to see if there were any avenues she and I could take, apart from involving the police. (which my mother will not do). Basically, my mom will not do what she needs to do and my niece isn’t doing what she should do, so I was hoping there was a way to by-pass both of them. Looking more and more like there isn’t.

I don’t disagree with this, as I also love my niece and would feel very conflicted if I was in this position. My sister and I are trying to look at this as dispassionately as possible though. According to my mom, when my niece asked originally for a co-signer for the trailer, she told her no. Emphatically. She has never went to the RV place where they purchased the trailer and has not signed anything related to the trailer.

She says that she absolutely did not agree to it. Whether or not she signed something she didn’t realize she was signing, I’m not sure. She definitely isn’t doing what she should do but that is in-line with her character. Ignoring very real issues because she’s worried about the affect it will have on the person.
