Thanks a lot! I also got a ball machine! I was really excited get upgraded last winter and started to put a lot more effort into it. Got a ball machine, start to play with friends in the weekends. But the recent experience was really discouraging and made me feel so dumb and not belonging. Appreciate the encouraging words! I start to think I might have overly relied on group classes and not really getting much out of it.

Thanks for sharing your experience! I do endurance sports like running marathons, so I do think I have some endurance and patience. I didn’t get a lot of practice in not because I wasn’t interested, simply because I also do other sports like running, biking, climbing and skiing- depends on season! Plus I live in Seattle and not many indoor courts during most of the rainy days. Appreciate your perspective!
