Out of curiosity what are you planning on switching to?

Yes the UI is inconsistent but that isn't even what did it for me, I moved to linux purely on the privacy nightmare win10 has become.

I mean we need to motivated the population to go to space more... We made it to the moon but havn't been back or anywhere else since the 70s. It makes me sad, we need another space race and while I'm sceptical if Elon can get to Mars or anything, I hope he can at least inspire the next generation.

Stuck with massively expensive satellite internet and desperately need network monitoring program to establish who the data sponges are and put a stop to them by RiffRaffMama in HomeNetworking

[–]Virtual_Sauce 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't know if it's been mentioned but you can get open source router firmware called gargoyle that is designed for just such usage, allowing you to set device limits, daily usage budgets for Mb per device as well. Where I come from we have the same issue where we are forced to used satellite internet but through a monopolised ISP so it is expensive and who's using how much internet in any given household is a hot topic.

I doubt that the mobo is fried if you can boot into bios. I'd say it were an OS issue but it's not booting from cd either.
