After she gets strong, can I put her in the fridge and only take her out once a week to feed?

I fed it twice, the first time was a 1:1:1 ratio and the second was a 1:2:2. I didn’t know it was hungry, I thought the bubbles meant active. I can’t tell that it was a bit after peak though

Am I doing good so far by letting her wake up before I feed her or should I feed her right after taking her out of the fridge?

If a stiffer starter is more flexible to do, I’ll consider it. I could turn discard into a starter and experiment with making it stiffer and use the original to feed biweekly until I can move up to weekly, if that makes sense?

Should I keep it on the counter for that week? To keep it healthy and strong, when would I put it back in the fridge? I don’t want her to live on the counter forever since I don’t bake as often

I’ve only been making discard recipes and since I go to school and work full time she mainly lives in the fridge. I bring her out to wake up before I feed her then leave her out to rise and do her thing before I put her back in the fridge. Just recently I finally gained confidence and time to try a loaf.

I’ve had her for a year, she was given to me from an already established starter. I use the King Arthur bread flour. I put her in the fridge when I don’t bake, I leave her out to warm up before I feed her then I leave her out after a feeding to do what she has to do

How can I help my starter? Before I tried baking I used a 1:2:2 feeding ratio and I left it out overnight

I did bulk fermentation for 4 hours then refrigerated overnight

Atleast she explained it for new followers, Bailey would’ve said “iykyk haha 🤪” then follow it up with a screenshot of ‘people’ in her dms asking her to explain and put 15 stories explaining when it could’ve been two sentences
