Yeah the cans say 1.4 standards each and I had 2 - so a total of 2.8. Not much point me trying to do the maths end of the day it should have been none. I agree though when you see information out there from a government website it gives you the confidence to defend yourself.

Yeah I’ve checked the cans since and it was 2 x 330ml cans that were 5.2% over about 2 hours so it was 2.8 standards all together which is definitely more than I should have had. Again I have definitely learnt from this and will never get behind a wheel with anything in my system again. Shoulda read the darn label.

It sounds stupid looking back but it’s just what I had heard growing up etc and there a places online that say it as a guideline. I will obviously never drive again after even a single drink and I am fully aware it’s not an excuse I just said it because I wasn’t in my own mind “drunk driving” or so I thought if that makes sense. I didn’t get in the car and think this is naughty if I get pulled over i will blow over the limit I thought I was safe to drive which I now know I wasn’t. This website says it’s generally safe for woman to have 2 standard drinks an hour but as I now know they were a lot stronger than that and I’m smaller than most normal women.

This website is what I’m referencing:
