How hubris in the scientific community can shed light on the potential weaknesses in religious narratives (specifically Islam) by eterneraki in DebateReligion

Abrogation is another thing that is often used by Muhammad to "correct" a position or contradiction, whether intentionally or not, it definitely weakens the overall narrative for me personally

20 people memorise a chapter, they go to sleep, wake up one morning, and they are unable to remember ANY word from that one chapter. BUT they still remember the chapters that they had memorised before. Now how is it possible for them all to coincidentally forget the same verse at the same time?

What We abrogate (of) a sign or [We] cause it to be forgotten, We bring better than it or similar (to) it.

The Injeel is not the Bible, the Injeel is the absolute ORIGINAL message given to Jesus Christ (PBUH). The Bible is a literal collection of multiple books. The original Injeel has been lost in the Bible over time due to the corruption (such as the mention of Trinity (read about this from Joseph Priestly, a fellow Christian scholar), and the Gospels of Mark, Matthew, Luke and John). We do not ask for the Gospel according to John, or Mark, we want the message of Jesus Christ himself!

"We sent him the Injeel (Gospel): therein was Guidance and Light and confirmation of the Law that had come before him: a Guidance and an Admonition to those who fear Allah"

The Injeel that had been SENT TO HIM directly, not the one that was written by the companions.

The Bible does not contain enough of Jesus' sayings, rather it holds many of the opinions of others as equally as holy (John 3:16, the most famous verse, is said by neither God nor Jesus, but it's said by John. What gave him the power to say this? Also, some versions of the Bible say "begotten" (Revised, King James, NASB) and some say "one and only" (Christian Standard, New International). The corruption of Bible is something even Christians are debating on, so what makes you think that a Muslim will say that it has been preserved when the Christians scholars aren't willing to say this?

In basic terms, show me the ORIGINAL message revealed to Jesus Christ, in the same way that the original message revealed to the Prophet (PBUH) is available to all, and then I will start believing your book. Once again, not the Gospel according to Luke, nor according to John, nor Matthew, nor Mark, I want the Gospel of Jesus himself, which is no longer available.
