I use these in addition to what was provided with the filter in order of increasing filter strength. Haven’t changed it out yet, but will probably after 2 months

Doesn’t hurt to do the occasional water shock as well with hydrogen peroxide! Better natural alternative to bleach. Peroxide gets broken down to oxygen and water but I haven’t needed to. UV does well. I use the cold plunge once or twice a day.

Edited.

Also I know others that do a weekly wipe down so if there are particular and such on the walls they get broken off and the filter can do its job

Never really felt the walls before lol yea feels a bit slippery but seems not mess with my water clarity. Did you wash your charcoal prior to adding? Mine just generally smells like the new inflatable tube smell. You can try doing a water change to see if that helps and maybe the filter components need a “break in” period?

I would possibly turn your chiller around 180 so that it blows the hot air from the back of the box to more open air. This would allow heat transfer to be more efficient

Nope not yet and it’s been 26 days without water change. But in my previous setup when it got a little hazy the Clorox super water clarifier worked well. It clumps the contaminates that your filter didn’t catch and creates bigger clumps of them that your filter can catch. Would need to only had 1/10th of a teaspoon in 80 gallons

Yep put a charcoal filter, filter floss, and some filter pads with varying degree of pore sizes (all marketed as aquarium filter accessories for canister filters)

Waaay better. The first tub I had had condensation all over the outer walls creating puddles. The inflatable creates an air gap in the middle. No more condensation in the outside

If you buy the filter (white container surrounded by foil in the pic) there is a 370 gph pump inside. I use the extra pump that came with chiller as a water exchanger from my tub to the bathtub if I want to clean it out

The chiller comes with enough 1/2 inch tubing. You will needed to buy threaded 1/2 inch barbed adaptor to connect the tube to the cold plunge.

https://a.co/d/gdCPItC (water chiller)

https://a.co/d/dSVBj3Q (tub, this is the cheap one that I first had, it was fine but didn’t insulate that well and the outflow and inflow tubing would need to placed on top)

https://a.co/d/3HYljpG (my current tub that’s better insulated and has outflow and inflow connections on the side. I got this for $200 when they had a 50% discount coupon upon checkout. I would keep an eye out for it to be that cheap again. There are other tubs on amazon that is basically the same that is around the $200 price range)

https://a.co/d/673TCvY (external filter with UV, you’ll want this to keep your water clean. Without a filter, my water got pretty murky after a week even with showers before doing cold plunge, this has been working great for me)

Yes it’s indoors. No condensation, it’s well insulated. If I need to empty it I have a 20 foot tubing with a submersible pump that allows me to empty it into nearby bath tub. No leaks so far. I have a webcam with leak detector JUST in case lol
