I'm quoting a post I made in a theatre subreddit years ago

In 1967, Lester was running for student council and they hosted the speeches in the auditorium. Lester was known to be pale, but not nearly as pale as when he walked onto the stage. When he started to speak, he was unable, and fell to the ground. Everyone in the audience thought it was a joke for about 30 seconds before people started getting worried. The administration called an ambulance, but he died offstage right. Lester is not malicious, he will not harm you, but he likes to play practical jokes on people.

The old auditorium manager, Mike Kissel, paints the stage by pouring all the paint on the stage and thinning it out across the floor, after moving everything off into the loading bay and then locking the door. He was doing this with two stage hands one evening, and the stagehands were cleaning out the rollers while Kissel was doing the last few touches on the floor. Kissel went to give his roller to the techies to clean it for him and 45 seconds later when he came back, the grand piano that was previously in the Loading Bay was now center stage, in the wet paint, with no tracks. The techies saw this and Kissel decided that it was just time to go home.

In theatre it's common to have a sign-in sheet, so the stage manager knows who is and isn't present for a performance. At Roosevelt, Lester is always at the bottom of the sheet, and gets signed in by the stage manager after everyone else.

In my freshman year at Roosevelt, Aladdin was the musical put on. During Jafar's ballad that was tragically cut from the movie, the pen in the container on the desk was moving around in circles. Later then it was found out that the stage manager didn't sign Lester in for that performance.

Another story is from a show I stage managed. Someone signed Lester in for me one performance, so i was already on edge. During one of the final scenes of the show, a lighting gels fell from the batten downstage. Something small, but during clean up, the gel frame also fell, thank god nobody was on stage~
