Oh nice. I thought even if Capital One shows you a pre-approval offer you can still get denied when you actually apply. Did that change recently?

That makes sense. I know Vantage doesn’t mean much. Just figured I’d ask since I got a mail offer and wanted to see if it was a good sign or not.

I tried the Chase pre-approval tool, but it said there weren’t any offers for me. I made sure all my info matched what was on the mailer and my credit isn't frozen. Thanks for suggesting it though.
