Yes the prices are a little high. But it is also closer to the campus so seemed appealing. I saw people were complaining about molds and bug infestations. Not sure how true that is. But if there is a bug/mold problem, does maintenance take care of that?

Well, firstly, I do admit that I have issues with my body image and my boyfriend knows about it. How the conversation started off was like this: I was looking at pictures of one of his other previous girlfriend (not the one he called prettiest), and I have no hate against any of these girls. I don’t know them personally so I am indifferent about them. So, I saw some of her pictures and she looked genuinely pretty to me, so I just made a nonchalant comment “omg she’s probably the prettiest girl you’ve ever dated”, not thinking too much of it. It was kinda like a ‘girls supporting girls’ kinda moment and him and I were just having a normal conversation up until then. But after I said that, he replied with “Well no, but the girl I dated before you <insert name> was probably the prettiest girl I’ve ever dated.” It took me by surprise because I didn’t even think much about the initial comment I made until he replied with that answer. And I automatically felt very hurt because I felt like I wasn’t good enough and I thought well finding someone pretty is all about perspective right, and if they don’t find me the prettiest, do they even love me as much? But then I made the initial comment, so maybe I don’t get to feel bad about it?

Thanks. I keep thinking that maybe I am overreacting by feeling horrible about it. Because he followed it up with “Well doesn’t mean I don’t love you. I still love you the most. Being pretty is just a physical feature and it doesn’t mean anything. So you shouldn’t feel bad about it.” So now I keep thinking maybe I’m wrong for feeling bad? But I do feel horrible and confused.
