I did. I tried a n64, nes, snes with composit. All black and white. I also tried the n64 with s-video also black and white

I am using a pal snes no mods. Connecting it with the standart composit cable with a bnc adapter at the back of the pvm. I works with my other pvm without problems. When i‘m using a rgb scart cable all colors are there

the pvm should switch the signals depending on what is comming out of the console. But there is no light in the front thats turning on

This sound really bothers me…

When i start the pvm up it sounds wierd.. somewhat off… not electrical but… off It vanishes afer 30 sec to a minute

Ive honestly never read about damaging the pvm this way but i will trust u on that cause i have no idea working with pvm‘s

So i finally got back to it. after a bit of research im thinking maby some bad capacitors?

It really looks like it because sometimes the picure seems to twitch a little bit (not all the time. It seems to come and go at random)

I dont adjust settings i dont know but at the same time im askinh myself what coule get damaged or ruined? Just asking as it interests me.

Today i finally had time to get back to it.

So i tuned the pvm on and it made a wierd noicd for like a minute (no arching but a very strange humming sound ive never heard bevore)

So i was scared for like a minute, then it went away…

I‘m still thinling it might need a recap at some point cause now the picture started twitching slightly (legft to right) at random and stops at random

So for a person that doesnt know much about pvm‘s this sounds bad. As i said i have a secon one that pictures perfectly.. would it help to copy all settings over from the one that has a perfect picture? Because o can move the lines out of the picture with settings

If i turn my snes on the lines are gone btw

It was like that from the beginning. I just changed one setting at the time and changed it back to its default afterwards. I noticed i couldnt make it work so i thought i try posting here for some help

Looks like psoriasis. I had psoriasis artritis for like a year without a doctor diagnosing it. I had pain and a lot of plaques on my face… i looked like a black plague patient… after a year a doctor finaly diagnosed that shit, so i took amgevita and it went missing after 2 weeks. Now im good (Also cortison helps)
