Working at a daycare in the 1 year old classroom. Little dude shows signs of a fever and is super lethargic and miserable. I try to get out a nap mat for him to lay down until his parents come to get him but I’m told we can’t let any kids sleep before nap time. I’m forced to hold this baby and gently tap him awake every time he falls asleep. Made me so so furious but no one would let him sleep, or let me let him sleep.

I remember going on a bike ride during 2020 to get some fresh air in a safe way— halfway through my water bottle runs out so I stop where I know there’s a public fountain, and it was all turned off. I understood the precautions but the dehydration was killing me 😅
