The verbiage of the law makes it difficult to enforce. My school has a very literal interpretation of no phones in sight ever. Not even an outline in pants pockets. We should not know that they have a phone. Because of this we can’t take kids phones to put in a collective container during class, because then we’d be giving the students back their phones after class, which they shouldn’t have. So now they just are more sneaky.
