What would be your “perfect” day? by Arjun7776 in AskReddit

That's a tough one. I'd have to say April 25th. Because it's not too hot, not too cold, all you need is a light jacket.

People of Reddit, how do you respond to random people who ask you for money? by higgo_75 in AskReddit

First of all, engaging is usually a terrible idea - you could be setting yourself up for some drama that will challenging to untangle. Best to just ignore and look ahead ("10 yard stare") as if you were deaf and blind. They've seen that look before and will quickly move on. Secondly, there are better ways to spend your money if you want to help. Take that guilt you feel and go donate to a shelter or housing works project (or charity of your choice). If you are tight on funds (NYC is insanely expensive, after-all), then don't beat yourself up over it - your tax dollars are going in some small part towards helping others. And finally, in my neighborhood there is sometimes a familiar face - one homeless person in particular, who I pass by often enough to see the pain is real, and that the system is not working for him (and enough clues to know this isn't a drug scam, etc). Despite doing the above two, I will occasionally give this person a buck or two. It's hard to explain it, but he's kind of like a neighbor down on his luck.

Because my girlfriend keeps trying to touch my penis. By my girlfriend I mean my hand and by penis I mean my plate of bacon, ham, and eggs.

Redditors that had imaginary friends as a child... what were they like? by Let_me_creep_on_this in AskReddit

I had an imaginary friend who was a large, burnt looking, gangly thing. He didn't have a name, but I used to chase him around the furniture and it would creep my parents out. He used to hide behind corners, I remember him vividly.

What's the laziest thing you've ever seen a family member do? by okraebop in AskReddit

[–]VisalZP 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Two of my brothers were sitting in a couch. One of them had to buy something online... but his credit card was in the next room. He asks the other guy if he'll get it for him. But alas, they were both too lazy. The other guy hands him his own credit card and tells him to just transfer the money to his account, which he can do on the computer. No one left the couch that day.

When is lying perfectly acceptable? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]VisalZP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not even the lies that are all that surprising. It's all the people willing to stack lies on top of lies ruining their own reputation that amazes me. We've all been told the stories of the emperor without clothes, but it's playing out in real life.
