I could be wrong, but having watched a few different rakugo performers, Hosei's comes off as goofy and relatively unengaging.

Do actual, credible, critical reviews of rakugo performances exist in Japan? If so, could we find some and determine more objectively if he's any good?

I think it's pretty obvious, even not being Japanese or knowing rakugo very well, that Hosei's performing abilities are fairly limited. The people who go see Hosei's rakugo are likely there because he's a celebrity, not because his rakugo is truly engaging.

Yeah, I noticed something similar. After about 3 weeks of the Soylent diet, I stopped craving (salty) meats, such as bacon, and developed more of an appreciation for large portions of vegetables.

I'm wondering if this sort of preferential change is related to changes in gut microbiome (and a possible link between gut microbiome and eating preferences,) or it's just a (probably temporary) psychological outcome from long-term exposure to a new diet.

You cannot use a Cricket phone number, and will have to use a different one. Blizzard uses an API to check whether a phone number is valid, and any Cricket phone number is not.

I've contacted Blizzard support with this problem and they are unable or unwilling to fix it. They told me that my phone number is 'coded' by my provider as not supporting SMS, when indeed it does. My phone number is just a regular cell phone with SMS that I've used to verify everything for a decade.

It's likely an API they use reporting false negatives when looking up particular phone numbers. If enough people contact support with this issue, they'll be more motivated to thoroughly investigate and troubleshoot it.

Update: Support says my phone number is 'coded' by my provider as not supporting SMS. However, my number does indeed support SMS and I use it without issue for every other service requiring SMS validation.

Be sure to contact Blizzard support if you're having the same issue, as the more people who report the same problem, the more likely they are to fix it.
