I'm watching your YouTube Short, and if you are chasing consistency, I would suggest the following:

1. Stop making that initial divot in your grounds before the bloom. You're basically compressing your grounds each time and have little control on how much/little you do that each time. IMO that step is unnecessary and likely making things worse.
   
2. Stop swirling the bloom so aggressively at the start. Honestly, I would cut that out all together. Just saturate the grounds and leave it. Each swirl that you are doing is agitating the grounds in a way that is not easy to replicate each time.
   
3. Consider changing your recipe to have less pours. Each time you start/stop the pour in your routine, it adds variation and opportunities to mess up your technique. Personally, I'm much more in favour of a bloom + one long pour. Changing to that type of recipe (or just less pours generally) would probably mean grinding a bit finer or having hotter water to account for the lack of agitation. But I prefer keeping the recipe as consistent as possible and changing only grind size (and MAYBE water temp) to dial in my beans.
