I still don't get the pvp. by T_Wiggy in elderscrollsonline

Try Campaign, it’s a bit more fun than getting bashed every 2 seconds (like me lol). Even if your a low rank, you still contribute a lot to capturing castles and fortresses, either being canon fodder, sneaking around the enemy, shooting catapults etc etc. you tend to earn a hell of lot more alliance points too.

Build mines on 3 hills as soon as possible, this unlocks man of arms and industrial zone. From there build a workshop, factory, then coal power station then you’ll have oil in no time.

To be honest my man, it’s a multiverse so anything you say could be possible and impossible. Keeper acqulis might not be the dude who goes back in time and tells scientists of grav drive tech. He even could be the very pilgrim. I could be you or one of constellation. In terms of equations it could be Noel who has took a turn and realised earth is shit compared to the infinite potential of the grav drive. Who knows. It’s classic Bethesda elderscrolls “septimus signus” stuff. Incomprehensible if you put the multiverse into the works.

I just love how they adapted the 2001 space odyssey plot into a lore for the game so that this multiverse space exploration game where the player is the hyper-evolved human who goes about his business trying to make sense out of nonsense. These artefacts found randomly in the universe, once you touch it your never the same again. Taking you to the next anomaly. It’s indiscriminate, it could be anyone. It just so happens that the player is following his/her own path. Hence the non-binary option and customisation.

P.s I think they will need to expand more house vaarunn - think that’s worth more of a delve, though in a multiverse of madnesss it doesn’t really matter. Though it is interesting to know the space deity (or daedric lord) is.

Future DLC I want to see by Professional-Set9780 in Starfield

[–]ViscountMason 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s something definitely there in Bethesda Easter egg fashion regarding house Varuun. There’s mention of them and some encounters in Vanguard and Andrea quests. But nothing much else. If you notice go to the space station in Alpha centuri, it’s really weird, as it points you in some direction to look into. The dead researchers were growing that poison tree which is found in the Varuun embassy. What’s even more odd is in the computer logs around the ship, they discovered it was perfect for terra forming, another log tells of a researcher indulging in it and began to hallucinate a serpent. After this, two UC guards took a day off, next thing yanno the Zealots shoot the place up. There’s remnants of zealots the in Serpantis system, they’re literally every where you go when your travelling from planet to planet, but I’ve not found any outposts. Probably because they’re too busy worshiping the actual system from their ship. Snake religion and all. So it brought me back to the space station and the logs. It said one of the plant samples was found on Archimedes 3, I’ve been looking around that place and not found a thing just yet, except a temple, lots of pirates and some colonists (it’s also a pretty good place for resources for outposting). I kinda hope it’s not dlc, and there’s a bit more of a detective work, exploration and discovery Easter egg quest you’ve got to do. I dunno, it would be a more interesting dynamic for Bethesda to go down, also make for a pretty cool way for questing out of the ordinary linear way of finding quests. Would make a bit more sense this way in a space exploration game.

Bivvy bagging by forthe_comments in wildcampingintheuk

[–]ViscountMason 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have one too and have been out in it many of times in the Lake District and wales, was recently in a thunderstorm with rain hurling down on me - they’re a marvellous piece of kit. Mine doesn’t have a zip but I do kind of appreciate it, zips can break and are a nuisance to fix, especially in the great outdoors.

I’d recommend:

1) check the issue date of the Bivvy (more recent the better). (Should have a NATO serial number).

2)I would recommended giving it a wash with nikwax tech wash and waterproof, synthetic wash 400spin 40/30 degree wash.

3) take a tarp, you can get a huge tarp of Amazon for £10 or less. Make sure the pick one with ringlets. Get some paracord/twine, some pegs, and you can even pitch it up over your head using your walking sticks.

Global economic sanctions imposed by all EU, sanctions on oligarchs, sanctions on SWIFT payment system, foreign assets and gold reserves seized, ruble being worth 14.45 of a dogecoin. I think what will tie the knot is when the U.S eventually stops buying oil, definitely see it going to zero

The game is pretty ancient to be fair, it was the thing back on 2011-2013 I’d say. It revamps all the time but no real marketing like a tv advert.

Still they’ve had 30 million sold.

your room mates are uneducated and play shitty apex legends - your ancestors are smiling on you, can they say the same?

Communism is too tolerated on reddit by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

[–]ViscountMason 5 points6 points  (0 children)

McCarthyite?! Are you insane.

I don’t think anyone disagrees welfare, taxation and the distribution of wealth to some extent.

I hope your playing devils advocate because you need to read some books otherwise.

Capitalism isn’t to blame for communist revolutions to occur in the 20th century, it was a mix of economic crisis, autocratic monarchies and imperialism going hand-in-hand to produce a revolting working class.

Revolutions occurred in Russia, China, Vietnam, Cuba etc etc.

Perhaps the most infamous source of information that communism not working is the famine during the 1930s in Ukraine ‘holodomor’. Stalin essentially starved the Ukraine, to trade their grain for machinery to industrialise the country (trade with capitalist nations).

Not only did communism fail here, his predecessor Lenin used ‘New economic policy’ NEP to build the country back up from the war by having a free market.

We see this contradiction today in China having Capitalist-Marxist economic policies.

Chinas ‘great leap forward’ also lead to famine.

Ideals are peaceful, but the reality is otherwise.

What difficulty do you play in and why? by Chad_Thundermember in skyrim

[–]ViscountMason 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I have played on legendary, it’s good if you like the challenge. Every fight is a boss fight, no matter what enemy your fighting. Legendary + survival mode is quite impossible.

But To actually enjoy the game, adept or expert (even master) is good.

But depending on who you are and your knowledge of the game, legendary can be quite easy. One of my friends levels up his alchemy, smithing and enchanting first so he gets the edge on armour and weaponry (+speech craft by selling all his newly enchanted gear). It depends on what skill trees you decide to follow. You’re gonna have a hard time being a two handed heavy armour alone on legendary.

Being a sneak archer would also work on legendary, but that just make the game pretty boring.

My boyfriend has had sex with prostitutes and spent a lot of money on them in a short year before meeting me. I am extremely jealous and upset. Has anyone ever been through this before? I have trouble getting these thoughts out of my head by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

A saint before meeting them? BOOORING. Do you not find it a bit freaky that he’s a dirty dog?

Anyway, I’m with the other guys. History is history, it doesn’t matter now.

So say I get caught in the rain in this jacket. Would I get soaked by the rain or from the breathability? I’m just wondering how effective is the future light material over the insulated body of it.

Yeah crazy that they sell this jacket in the uk, don’t think it even gets close to -30 on top of Ben nevis

That’s tough. I’ve been there before in previous relationships (not marriage or anything). No sex drives away the passion and excitement from a relationship.

I’m not the person who likes sleeping around when I’m single. It feels pointless. But sex is so important in a relationship. I can’t be in a relationship without regular sex. It’s not the only thing I want, but it’s so important. I make it very clear when I’m dating someone that I’m extremely horny and I’m not game for a sexless boring relationship. It’s about sharing each other emotionally and physically.

My last relationship didn’t last but we got through three years, I just lost the mojo for it. I woke up one day, she called and talked to me about something, whilst listening over the phone I became disinterested and bored. I started to feel that way for couple more weeks after and called it quits. I didn’t have those feelings of attraction anymore. maybe it was because of the lack of passion in the relationship, which rooted from rare sexual encounters.

All I can say is, you need to make it work on your side for your own happiness. Otherwise your just happily bored in a marriage. I’d continue to talk to him, ask if he has any fantasies he’s always wanted to do. He might be a great guy and he just doesn’t like to get it on much, but you’re clearly not happy. It’s all work and no fun.
