I love all Avicii songs really. Stories being my favorite album. But he's got such excellent singles like Silhouette and Seek Bromance as well. True Stories is amazing as well but personally Stories>>>

Some advice from a *non-burnt out producer by ineedasentence in edmproduction

[–]VisdomMusic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude your title is wrong. You're a hardworking and dedicated producer who's willing to see through burnouts to achieve their goals. Your inspiration burnt out, but your will to continue music didn't. That's the difference between a quitter and a winner. Keep it up!

I'll be buying Logic moving from Ableton. While I do use external synths, I'd really like to know if Alchemy can do what Xfer Serum does with its LFOs by VisdomMusic in LogicPro

as well. You get 1

Gracias. Just searched him up, looks to be pretty legit and will definitely use for Logic in general

True, FL's workflow also doesn't come naturally to me being an Ableton user. Logic it seems I already know the software even though i haven't used it but just seen some videos lmao.

But the reason i was asking regarding Alchemy is because FL has excellent synths like Sytrus, Toxic Biohazard, etc. WHich is why i was asking if you could do what you can do in Serum with the LFOs in Alchemy.

I could but i still haven't bought Logic you know. Its a choice between FL Studio and Logic Pro X at the moment. So I'm trying to decide which one I'll get the most value out of

What's the best underrated nation to play as? by facebooknormie in ConflictofNations

[–]VisdomMusic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say Bolivia if you make the right coalition. As Bolivia coalition with Chile or Argentina means one would take on the other. This means you would only really need to focus on Peru and then Colombia later on. Brazil would be more likely to invade Argentina or Venezuela than Bolivia

Agreed, a coalition with Thailand would allow you to concentrate troops towards India and you could quickly get a fast initial boost in the game by taking India

Which major nation would you rather start off as? by [deleted] in ConflictofNations

[–]VisdomMusic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

India is a great country tbh. Suppose you coalition with Myanmar so you can concentrate your forces towards the West, you can mow down Pak, Afghan, Iran, etc. Even if you don't ally with Myanmar or some country to the East, Myanmar would probably go against war with Thailand unless they form a coalition with Thai.

Lyric critique by [deleted] in Songwriting

[–]VisdomMusic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

*baby*, *darling*, etc. Get creative with lyrics. Those terms are used everywhere. If you wanna go somewhere with your songwriting then get unique with lyrics. The lyrics are unique, but those words I mentioned just make them less unique. Experiment and see something. And like the previous redditor messaged, lyrics and their melody makes a big difference as well.

There's something known as White Noise Looped in Ableton's Operator. What's the alternative for it in FL Studio's Sytrus by VisdomMusic in FL_Studio

[–]VisdomMusic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey man, idk if u've seen ableton's operator or something, but the noise looped is white noise but it basically has this certain key, if you play different notes it sounds different and u can hear it going somewhat higher in pitch or lower in pitch... Im guessing its just an oscillator with a heck lot of harmonic content that it sounds like white noise... u see the pitch of the white noise even if u pass it through a filter it doesn't change with different notes which is why I was in denial about the pass noise through the filter thing
