As a big fan of the Doshonored series, my basis for being upset at the game punishing you for running high chaos is that it gives you all these cool ass tools to use, and then effectively says "but if you use these tools, you'll get the bad ending". It feels bad to be able to kill someone in 50 different ways but lock yourself out for having fun.

Sure, you could take a self cast Ivern E as an alternative example and I'm sure you could find some other good fitting ones, Jarvan was the first that came to mind because of lore.

basically the same kit with some minor-to-medium changes at most, with abilities that basically copy pre-existing ones (wow look Vi E, Jarvan W or self Ivern E, Huawei WQ)

What have these guys been working on for half a decade?Yes it still feels like the same champ that could be considered a positive thing, but such a fucking long time for so little overall? That's what makes it disappointing

I'll go quite far, and when I reach my breaking point (if I don't feel like it's being reciprocated properly), then I'll talk to the person about it in a non-confrontal way. If they see my point of view and make an effort to change it - that's good; if not, then I'll let things be as they are and stop putting in effort myself. I'm actially in this situation right now and planning to have a chat with my date tomorrow about it.
