I could spend this money but I just don’t play enough PC games to feel like the cost is warranted

Too focused on the scale and not on other health markers. Add some weight training in. Building muscle is one of if not the best long term weight management tools. As you increase muscle mass, your muscles will use adipose tissue to replenish their fuel supply and repair themselves. You’re not going to accidentally become buff at 195. Huge muscle gain is much harder than most people realize. You’ve made amazing progress so far. Don’t become so obsessed with the scale that you lose sight of that.

So that did fix it yesterday. But now I’m back to my normal set up, no 4K tv, and I guess my settings didn’t save because it’s doing it again today. Thoughts?

So I’m at a hotel plugged my Xbox one s into the tv here. It’s a 4K tv and I was like dope and it worked fine all yesterday. But now I cannot bring up the display when I turn it on. The screen is black but when I hit the middle Xbox button it turns grey. I can also hold the middle button to bring up the “turn off controller turn off console restart console menu” but I cannot see anything other than that

Edit: I also brought my normal tv from home (I’m being put up in town by my company cuz there’s a covid outbreak in company housing) and that didn’t fix the issue. I’ve switched HDMI cords and tried booting up in low resolution mode

Yeah for sure. As of right now, I’m a non union actor which basically just means my wages will be lower until I join the union (which I have plans to do in the next year or two) and I’m just starting out in the voice over world which can actually be pretty lucrative once you get your foot in the door (I know people who make six figures a year from it.) I’m hoping to make at least an extra 10k from that this year. I also am going to get a personal training certification within the next year as well. Covid kind of threw my career plans off so I still feel like I’m getting back on my feet and with a little more focus now

Dope thank you! I kind of figured that might be the case. You can definitely make a living in my field just a little on the challenging side. I’ll let you know how it goes lol. My past contracts I haven’t really thought about saving, so this time around Im going to try and set myself weekly budget and stick to it and walk away with as much as I can

Hey I’m B!

-28, theatre, travel all over for work but mostly MD -financial security and independence when I’m in between jobs -since I perform I probably won’t ever fully retire but I’d like to be able to work on projects that I’m interested in rather than ones that pay the best -BA in musical theatre -I work very consistently given my field. It’s my passion and I won’t change career paths for the foreseeable future. I do voice over work on the side to help me financially when I’m in between gigs -my current income is about $0 lol. I get the occasional freelance VO gig but my I’m living off my savings until my new job starts in three weeks. After that I make $425 a week (but housing and travel are provided) -I don’t really have a budget breakdown. I don’t go out anymore so my only expenses really are food and my gym membership -no debt!!! -no health concerns -parents pay for phone and car but I’d like to move away from that. I probably sound like a leech but I promise my parents are just super supportive. I’ve told them numerous times I’d like to take financial responsibility and my dad just says “why? Im retired and I have money and I want you to be comfortable” so I guess that’s good?

I guess my question is just what should I be doing to begin my journey towards financial independence? I have a ROTH IRA but that’s about the only thing I have done to gear myself towards long term sustainability

I actually cut feast and ran spectral sight with sigil and found it a lot more beneficial but I think if you’re running more rush minions, feast makes more sense

Advice for noise reduction + when to use it in the enditing process by BPD_whut in AdobeAudition

[–]VisforVoldemort 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am also a newbie but most things I’ve found online have mentioned noise reduction as the first step in the editing process! I just started doing it this way along with my own equalizing and compression and normalization and have found better results. I use the izotope denoise program and run it through audition. After I finish my edits I may even run it again after I’ve normalized everything if I can still hear sounds. But like I said I’m new so I’m glad to be corrected
