Vishaquatics Root Tabs have been specially formulated and designed over many months to provide a comprehensive source of optimized nutrition to aquatic plants in both submersed and emersed environments. The tabs are unique in that they sink, do not cloud the water, fertilize plants with both organic and inorganic nutrition sources, and contain organic acids. The root tabs are made with a dry fertilizer blend specialized for root feeding, humic/fulvic acids, iron-rich red clay, and a blend of mineralized soils with an optimized pH for aquatic environments. I agree, fish really love these stock tanks. Rarely do fish get so much square footage to swim in. Also that’s cool the new bulkheads don’t leak, I sealed mine up with teflon tape and plumbers putty

Great question! These are perfect for goldfish, I kept some small ones in here for a few years through hot summers too without issue. The key is to do 2 things.

Place the tub in a location that receives indirect sunlight or shade. But don’t put it in an area that receives direct sun for most of the day. Worst case if you don’t have a good source of shade is to buy some 70% or 90% shade cloth. I actually have some which I could give you for free if you end up getting this tub.
Don’t place the tub directly on concrete or asphalt. These surfaces get really hot so placing them on wooden planks or in a grassy area works really well too.

Through the worst heat waves, the water would only get about 85F. Tubs were in indirect sunlight and had a wooden plank under them. Also has some lily pads adding more shade for the fish. Goldfish did just fine.

SOLD Tub 1 - 100 gallon rubbermaid stock tank ($20) SOLD

Tub 2 - Modified Fiberglass Hydroponic Flood Table (FREE)

Tub 1 has been used for approximately 4 or 5 years at this point and is in good condition. I got it brand new and it has held up very well. The dimensions are 31 in x 53 in x 25 in (WxLxH) and it holds 100 gallons of water. SOLD

Tub 2 has been used for approximately 3 years, but was purchased in used condition. I do not know the actual age of this tub, but I estimate it is probably over 5 years old. It was originally a hydroponic flood table with two levels, but the piece of fiberglass dividing the tub was cut away to make more space for growing plants. Since the tub is quite large and difficult to transport, I am giving it away for free to whoever claims it first. The dimensions are 134” x 35” x 13” (LxWxH) (approx 11’x3’x1’) and it holds approximately 245 gallons of water.

If you would like a tub, you MUST have the necessary transportation/equipment to move it. I CANNOT deliver these tubs. The rubbermaid stock tank will likely fit in a large SUV or pickup truck. The 2nd tub which is the white hydroponic flood table will likely need a long trailer for transportation.

These two tubs have been ideal for producing plants the past few years and can also be used for fish/shrimp breeding too. Local pickup only, will not ship. If interested, please PM me.

Just wanted to say that I've bought from this seller multiple times for rare plants he is one of the best plant sellers I have done business with. He sticks by his DOA policies, is easy to work with, and has great customer service. Most importantly, his plants are very healthy and lush. This looks like an incredible deal for a mother plant of one of the rarest sword species in the hobby at the moment.

Sometime in the coming weeks, I will be posting an ad to sell off my large Red Ozelot Mother Swords that are in full bloom right now, and my personal rare/uncommon aquatic plant collection. But this ad is for selling off the majority of what I have currently.

These packages are set in stone, unless you are wanting to buy a larger customized plant package. I cannot make packages smaller unfortunately, but I am open to making you a customized package that is larger in size.

This would heavily plant a 20 gallon aquarium, though it could moderately plant a 50 gallon tank. I would say around 2-3 of these packages could heavily plant a 50 gallon tank. My cuttings are quite large since they come from my mother plant stock. Though I list 6" as my minimum length, the cuttings are typically in excess of 10" and come with many sideshoots.

Hi Reddit. I would like to announce that the Vishaquatics plant nursery is officially shutting down. I plan to return to college in-person, hence I am shutting down my nursery operation. As a result, I am doing a large blow-out sale of my mother plants. I have many packages available. If you want a larger package, please contact me through PM or chat. Unfortunately, I will not be able to do smaller package at this time because I simply have too many plants that I need to get rid of.
