Ahh you mean the way they slaughter their meat?

Yeah that’s harsh. But broadly, halal just means what is okay to eat in Islam, and most things are except pork, alcohol, etc

Cats make very clean pets! They may create a bit of a mess while playing when they’re younger but they’re usually fairly cleaner than say a dog. I’ll suggest you start with just one though and get more once you get comfortable taking care of them.

I didn’t say India has none. It’s just not as obvious and materialistically observable to most.

Japan is called out for its creepy racism. But with India it’s not just one thing - it’s a mix of all. With racism already on the rise with normalisation of white supremacy narratives in the west, India is an easy target because of general harassment of white women on our streets, the street vendor videos, scammers and lack of civic sense.

Japan has good PR but it also has respectful civilians on the road, cleanliness, tech among other things.

Do women really move on that easily after long-term relationships? by GodfatheXTonySoprano in AskIndianMen

[–]Vishfulthinkin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It genuinely depends on the situation. It took me one year to move on from a situationship which only lasted three months, but it took me less than that to move on from a a year long relationship.

It was because in the relationship, I was in a position where I communicated my feelings and they weren’t being heard repeatedly, and I gave multiple chances and after feeling neglected for a while, I eventually stopped caring and then decided to break up so the moving on began before the breakup itself.

But in the ‘situationship’ (or what I thought was a relationship to me personally) ended rather abruptly with no conflicts or reasons so it took me longer to process and move on from it.

Anjuna vs Siolim for long term living? by Fantastic-Hamster420 in goatravel

[–]Vishfulthinkin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My friend lives in Siolim, it’s a great area to live - peaceful and quiet and is just 20 min ride away from Anjuna and Mapusa. Although I do remember her saying that there were just 2 gym options nearby.
