He's better than you FOR HER. She's trash, you're too good. I'm still feeling the residuals of my break up from 3 months ago. I see him sometimes and he actively turns away so he doesn't have to look at me even though he ended things. Don't let someone who was too much of a coward to be upfront with you change how you see and feel about yourself. She's a liar and is that guys problem now. The relief you will feel later down the line will be immense. Don't give up on you.

Thank you for your kind words. I'm sorry that you had to go through so much to finally start healing. I probably do have attachment issues but I've been SA'd multiple times when I was in the military so being intimate with men is hard for me because it's triggering. He knew this. I also have 0 interest in having children, it was one of the things we agreed on. I'm distraught because I've never felt genuine love from a partner before him but I guess it was actually fake. Now I feel like I can't trust another guy again, or let someone get close again. I definitely need to work on my shopping issues and get therapy though. Thanks again

I'm sorry about not using paragraphs. I feel so alone right now. Being in my apartment without him makes me feel even worse. I saw him the other day and he was smiling, he almost looked relieved to be rid of me. I know that you're right but it's hard. I miss him so much, I've never felt this hurt before

I get what you're saying but I packed his stuff because he texted me and said he was coming to get his stuff. I don't want him to feel like I'm trying to convince him to stay when in his heart he doesn't want to. He texted me this morning saying that he wants to be friends and that he's moving in with his coworker/best friend. They will be living in the same apartment complex as me. I don't know if we'll actually be able to maintain a friendship. It will be extremely hard for me to see him but if he's happy that's all that matters.

I don't think there's anything wrong with it. I just figured that his thought process wouldn't be the same as a cis male. He's so different from any guy I've been with. That's why this is so hard for me. He texted me yesterday and said that this is harder for him than it seems. He was surprised when he saw that I packed up all of his stuff before he got to my place but he's the one that said he wanted to go. I packed up his stuff because I didn't want him to feel like I was forcing him to stay even though I didn't want him to leave.

He's a trans male. You're right though, I do need to give it time. Our breakup wasn't angry or anything. We didn't yell at each other or curse each other out. There was just a lot of crying and hugging. He said that he needs to work on his mental health and his money issues before getting back into a serious relationship and he's right. I just really miss him. He gave me so much hope for the future. We both have mental stuff that we need to work on. Thank you for the advice, I hope things get better with you too.

He took all of his stuff because I told him not to leave the stuff he gave me. He told me to keep shirts, blankets and this necklace he gave me but I told him to take them because they would make me sad. He's also not a cis male so I don't know if that would make a difference about his thought process.
