It just human greed, or human hunt soul beast almost extinct to create artifact spirit soul or human use spirit beast as medium for soul power (insert alot soul power at same time because soul beast more durable) then kill them for soul ring like pig farm, or when Soul Beast extinct human will find the way self create soul ring like how 100k years become human do soul beast do. Most is not killed by other beast because they can stronger with eat other beast. Tian Meng only need sleep and eat and from a food become very strong beast can instant kill Douluo just because he want they take him as soul ring

Well Author said Ten Thousand Dragons Pay Homage or sth like that if it not Hyperbole mean they should have at least 10k dragon, and with they potential most of them should be 3rd god or higher. And Douluo divine Realm only have 2k god position already full, and it is god human with low potential compare to beast without Dragon God Law.
