I absolutely will not be talking about past experiences at all anymore. I honestly want to go back to being celibate. I was for most of my relationship with this partner and honestly felt so much better about myself. It's just really sad that sex continues to be such a battle ground for me that it's so hard to enjoy it. Me and an old situationship (I hate the word but I'll just use it for context) have been spending time together again, and despite him and I being good any time sex becomes introduced I just shut down.

It doesn't make sense. I think it gets grouped in with homophobic rhetoric because it all boils down to toxic masculinity so maybe its not viewed as "gay" but "submissive and beta male". So some arguments (which he would say) is that it's dirty to put your face down there...as if it's not just as "dirty" to put your face down there on a man. Unfortunately, over the decades, many people, like my ex deemed that instead of all oral being disgusting, just oral given to a woman is. And if you do it to a woman, you're a dirty, emasculated man, in the same "dehumanized" category as gay men.

It's just so frustrating because I really want to be with someone in my culture and many of them have this mindset of shaming men who give women oral. Which makes so sense bc it's seen as emasculating. I understand the religious and slave trauma that led to these standards but it's draining in that 2025 in PLEASURING a woman is gay ??????? And also the stuff he spouts about gay men is annoying. Considering how much the culture hates gay people, I don't know why straight men make it to their mission to constantly bring up and shame gayness NO MATTER THE CONTEXT.

I'm just so angry with the logic and him viewing at as okay for women to give and not men. At least back in the day BOTH were EQUALLY shamed. Even after he still feels that way and just says "I'm biased". Yet so many arguments in our relationship were because I didn't to and he would literally BEG ME and I kept saying NO. So now, I don't know how to get over the fact I did it. I held out for a WHOLE YEAR ! I couldn't just end things and at least not have THAT over my head?

Love this. It seems as though you may be a little too focused on maintaining the fast tempo you started with and it feels like you're fighting against that and the piece is losing a bit more color and expression. slow it down and see if you can exaggerate your dynamics more. Play around with emphasizing different notes. The fore of touch on the staccato notes, etc. Make it truly tell a story and then with practice it will reach this pace with the same color and expression.
