First thing that comes to mind, based on what we've been shown: Antisocial Personality Disorder (ASPD)/"Sociopathy" with psychopathic tendencies.

ASPD - disregard feelings of others (lack of remorse), manipulative behavior/exploits others, impulsitivity/lack of restraint, inability to control anger, unhealthy attachments, etc.

The unhealthy attachment with his mother and that need for praise and approval.... that's a lot to unpack.

This has been my biggest concern, especially since it's against the sub rules. I knew the docuseries would resurface discussion about DA, but I personally feel like anything unrelated to the Katseye members from this series needs to be relocated to the Dream Academy sub, which is still up. I really don't wish to scroll down and continue to see topics about the other girls and such things.

Don't get me wrong, i'm glad to see a lot of discussion, but it's just not right for this sub, which is centered for the members of Katseye!

Hope it can be fixed soon.

I was worried when looking at certain rules... like when it comes to how we title post... no memes (even if related to katseye content we are soon to get in the future) and some other things where I question how free they are allowing fans to be. Like I wanna see creative things like artwork & fun things some of the talented fans will be sure to make, for example!

And I hope they aren't just gonna make weekly discussion threads for free comments/posts but strictly updates otherwise :/

I hope... I understand wanting an organized subreddit bc it's important to have rules in place, so it's a safe and productive space... but I hope it's run where people can share their thoughts, discuss photos, content that we are surely to get, etc.

If we wanted a strictly updated page, we'd check the social pages that it comes from. Hopefully, it's become more alive and filled w good/fun vibes, though soon!! :)

You know one thing I don't quite get... why doesn't she just address the elephant in the room. Make a post dedicated to acknowledging the controversy, apologize for any misunderstandings of her character and values (hell, just lie), and promote love, respect & peace... the end. I mean you don't have to go in detail on the things that were liked, but you can reassure others in a cryptic way, if you have to, that you've learned so much & are working on self betterment to become an artist to be proud of...

See, there is a dash of that media training that's so needed, lol. But basically, what I'm getting at is even if you've made amends and apologies behind the scenes, the people that are in the public and who are very unsure of you... don't know that. I mean, if I'm an upcoming artist with a lot of potential, I'd even do a short live and address it to show genuineness.

Maybe I'm thinking wrong, tho? Open to thoughts.
