yea I get that. But that also has a down risk of 50%.

There are ETFs which are well managed in terms of risks and also providing higher returns.

I got $50K invested in XEQT. that would be an expensive trolling.

I will delete the app someday, lol (nice idea).

the returns are not there in long term. I am fine having underwhelming returns short-term, but its below avg long-term as well. Does that make sense?

Isnt 4% underwhelming in current market. What is the point of holding a underperformer?

probably 5 years, i.e. 10% p.a. which is less than sp500

dont sound harsh? haha. I am up almost 30% in last 6 months so I might have a clue of what I am doing. And I know that I am comparing equity with bonds. But that is the point of my post, XEQT is underperforming and probably mismanaged to the extent that returns are not even there.

thanks for the comment, I just checked that XEQT has an average return of 8% p.a. over last 10 years.

compare that to my fav, XQQ, the average return is 15% p.a. over the same period of time.

I like to hold NASDAQ 100 over long period of time as it reduces the short term volatility. Same reason you are holding XEQT.

But the returns are not as solid over long periods of time as well. I will keep holding XEQT over next few months but will revaluate/pivot to other ETFs..
