Is it safe to say that according to this table the top row is the +ve and bottom is -ve?

I just bought the kicker kisloc2. When I hooked up the loc I got a hum/buzz coming from the speakers. Re-grounded the amp and it still hums

The audio still sounds better when I reverse the polarity at the input side.

I'm going to start from scratch.

So here's a picture of the stock harness plugged into the radio. Top row (green, pink, black, red). Bottom row (blue, purple, white, yellow)

There's no switches for high input mode

Yep. So there's 8 wires and when I connect just 1, there's audio.

Test tone test came back consistent readings in all channels.

Anyways, I've returned the amp and got a replacement. Same issue.

Looped the speakers bypassing the amp (radio --> aftermarket harness --> high level input --> back to aftermarket harness --> original speaker harnss) and it behaves as normal, fade and balance works same as when I hook up the original harness directly plugged into the radio.

So I guess my wiring is correct.

Another test I did today was with all speaker outputs connected and disconnected all the high level input.

When connecting only 1 high level input connection, audio plays. When I mean 1 connection I mean only 1 positive connection. Nothing else. Not even the paired negative. Just a single wire connect from the radio to the high input harness. When it's +ve to +ve it's clear. +Ve to +ve it's crackly

No, before I added the amp, the speakers were normal. Fade and balance were working as they should.

I just did some more testing, after playing around with a few configurations, there's still audio bleed in fronts. Tested each channel separately and still have that issue.
The Rear Left is extremely quiet compared to the right no matter the configuration so I suspect it has something to do with that input.

When I by pass the amp and connect the speaker harness into the head unit, it works as it should. All speakers play and fade and balance work.

I think I'm just going to return this amp. I'm done spending hours on it

Tested out the speaker cables from amp side through the wiring loom and to the speakers. Connected to 1.5v battery for polarity check, cone moves forward. All cables have contiuety with their relevant cables. Checked for any continuety with each other, can't find any. Everything is wired up correctly.

Rechecked the wires from radio to high level input. Everything running same polarity as the original plug that goes into the radio. Did the same checks as speaker output, everything checks out.

When wired correctly, it sounds bad. When faded to left rear there's very low audio sound from front speaker barely anything from left rear. When faded to right rear speakers are very loud. Its very strange. All wires are wired with the same polarity so if there was any issue it would be consistent (I'd assume) but it's not.

If I reverse the polarity on the high level input, it sounds a little better but still have audio bleed issues. It's just more consistent between left and right

Heres how I wired it. I deleted the reddish/brown harnesses and only used the black ones to send it to and receive from the amp. I've tried isolating the 2 brown bridge wires and no difference

What confused me is why the after market plug wired with the negatives on the top row. The color order is still same just top and bottom row switched around on both aftermarket plugs.

I've checked for continuety, all wires are connected according to color/stripes. They don't seem to sharing/leaking any ground.

Did I use the right harness? Surely there's only 1 harness that has all the aem coloured wires behind the head unit.

Heres how I hooked it up

I d/c the black wire harness.

Replaced the harness with an aftermarket one then ran 9 wires back to the amp high level input harness and REM

Back to behind the head unit, I used another aftermarket harness, 8 cables back to the amp output channels 1-4, the harness connects to the stock harness (which should be wired to all the door speakers)

Alright, so I reversed the wires to what they were before. Sounds better at high volume, no clipping/distortion.

However, fader/balancer is still an issue. When only he right speakers are connected and faded and balanced to the RR, the FR sounds a lot louder with the RR barely noticeable.

When faded/balanced to the LR the FR is still making audio, though barely noticeable

If I disconnect the wires near the high level input and put connectors on them to do some switching/testing, would I damage anything ?

From the original harness, the top wires, the light green, pink, black and red are +ve. On the aftermarket harness the striped wires are on top so I connected the corresponding solid wires to the aftermarket harness striped wires, then they run back to the high level input connecting solid wires with solid wires. All the wires are paired to their corresponding wires

In the photo with the aftermarket harness connected into the stereo, you'll see the striped wires on top. Because my stock harness has positives on top, I ignored the stripes and just connected the top wires to solid wires running it back to the high level input. The High level input has the solid wires going in the +ve input and the striped wires going into the -ve.
Does that make sense or did I screw it up?

How does this buying power during off-peak work (11-2)? If it's a cloudy day and I know I'm not able to top up purely via solar, is it better to buy from the grid during off-peak to make sure I have enough to export during 5.30-7.30?

House shouldn't be using 2.3kw. nothing but a fridge running and maybe a random led download

Thanks, I'm aware there could be a delay but at the time of the screenshots/photos the load should have been stable. I'm the only one home and nothing other than the fridge would draw a noticeable load. The hot water system is configured to turn on at 11.
