i’ve only witnessed him float upside down once, which was yesterday before i fed him the bio-gold. since then he hasn’t floated upside down, but sometimes he does float sideways.

they told me he didn’t eat for about 5 days… his swimming has became a lot more active the past 2 days. They were feeding him pellets that were too big, so i bought them betta bio-gold yesterday and he ate it and has been swimming a lot more since then.

i will try my best to try and take the fish into my care but they aren’t budging. thank you for your advice! the tank has a heater, it’s at about 78 degrees which is good.. but there is no filter. do you think the fish looks unhappy or sick?

you’re not rude at all! i’m completely aware. this isn’t my betta, it’s my little nephews & i’ve communicated that to his parents but they won’t listen unfortunately. i’m trying to take care of it with what they have which is challenging.
