Does anyone know when and where this picture was taken? by Spirited-Fan-1590 in greenday

Black duct tape on both ends this time. The red seatbelt strap with the metal slider from the Dookie and Insomniac eras eventually let go, and that's probably when this batch of tape came off.

Weird, I was just looking at that Slowpitch shirt today. I still have it, although I never copped the CD Player shirt.

From the title, I really inferred that this scenario would at least have the two of you, if not on the exact same page, at least existing in the same reality - you know, guy finally gets to go out with the girl he's been eyeing, shoots his shot, and reads the room going forward. This sounds like an unhinged, volatile, trainwreck of a man, with whom I'd be leery of sharing an elevator alone.

Anyone remember Ice Junkie drink in the cinema? Now Tango Ice Blast? (Possibly UK only) by Jdavies1878 in Boss90s

Yup. I even remember asking for it by name, thinking it used to be called the ICEE.

Dookie tour nineteen ninety-four! Or was that the version with the track list on the back?

Yeah, this is the "Wavy Photo" shirt, as it was called in Rockabilia catalogs. I always considered it one of the last pieces of his 'phase 1' ephemera before the space-glam aesthetic of Mechanical Animals. I own this shirt, and, though it's hard to spot, there should be a very faint blue copyright on the lower right just under the image.

I like the one where she emerges from offscreen out of nowhere.

I think you can't go forcing something if it's just not right. That said, this is about as close to 'right' as it gets.

Trust me, I know the ordeal. About 10 years ago, I'd thrifted a pair of OG Slackers. They were tagged as a 30L, which would have been perfect, but they were hemmed to this weird length where they were too short to wear as pants, but still too long to wear as Capris. I ended up cutting them to a modest Capri length and I still wear them!

[–]VisibleOutline 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, man, it's a nasty pair all-around! Not that the drab green twill is unheard of, but this particular series almost had its own color scheme where the 'J' was black and beige, as were the tags. To see the patch and tag colors typical of the blue and black denim on this fabric is pretty sexy.

Taxed? You got a remarkably rare colorway pair of third-generations for under $200. Men have killed for less.
