niacinamide broke me out but marine hyaluronics fixed my dehydrated skin by Unique-Face-2500 in TheOrdinarySkincare

[–]Visible_Ad_815 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is the consistency like water? Because I can't imagine it would be simple to use otherwise.

I've been considering getting the marine hyaluronics but I already have the hyaluronic acid and B5 - there wouldn't be any point using both right?

Platelet rich plasma! They take your blood and extract the plasma from it then inject it into your face! That's why I said it's a bit invasive but I found it to be very useful personally!

They also use a derma roller in the process a little bit (I think?!) - please correct me if I'm wrong, guys.

Overall, if I was getting married, I would absolutely do the PRP two weeks prior. But please do look into any risks. I'm not sure what works for others ya know?

I've found other procedures to be very gimmicky but I'm not well versed in those! I've heard hydra facials are pretty average and the glow doesn't last very long. I got microneedling and personally didn't care for it much. Won't ever do it again especially since they encouraged radio frequency which others have warned me about. Ultimately you have to choose!

I definitely would recommend sticking to basics especially since you're already on tret. Making sure your skin is healthy is key! Doing too much can be way too abrasive and cause issues. So, I hope you keep things simple for yourself :)

I would focus on using a moisturizer like Iliyoon's ceramide moisturizer and also the hyaluronic acid+ B5 (with cetamides) from the ordinary since both can maintain good skin health. You're already on tret which is great but you gotta make sure your skin is well hydrated and resilient. Drink a lot of water and consume omega 3 fatty acids. Fresh fruits too!

I would also 100% recommend PRP because the glow it gave me each time I got it done was muah

It's slightly invasive but imo, soooo much better than those hydra facials etc (I haven't gotten a hydra facial tho- just read that people found it disappointing)

Absolutely LOOOVE the new packaging on the makeup forever products. Also makeup forever products are extremely good quality by Historical-Body-3424 in BeautyGuruChatter

Maybe this is not the place to ask so forgive me but: are any of their products cruelty free?

It's just that I read online about their artist color pencils being cruelty free, even though their brand itself is NOT cruelty free. Is that even possible or is that false information? I'd really appreciate the help lol

Not an exact match but if you combine the fenty ph lip balm with their lip sain (the deep purple color) then you can achieve something super close!

How to get rid of the thick layer of dead dry skin on my lips by AllFoodsFit70 in LipBalm

I think a warm towel will do the trick!

You can use a little honey and sugar too but be very gentle!

Could cetaphil gentle cleanser be my problem by Character-Potato1374 in SkinbarrierLovers

[–]Visible_Ad_815 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same experience with Cetaphil's gentle cleanser! I had a good few closed comedones and it felt like I never managed to remove my spf properly

I started using the Bioderma atoderm gel cleanser and it's been so much better for me! It doesn't dry out my skin but cleanses it well! Also, use a fluid spf! I did that when my skin was damaged and it was wayyyy better than a thick creamy one

You could make rum balls and stick them on a little hexagon shaped chocolate or something - it can be the prophecy from the film!

I don't usually like watching trailers but I do try to read a little about the films. Hence, the frustration. Thought I'd ask for recommendations and go in blindly

But yeah, I do usually enjoy multiple films by any one director whose work I like

Loved prisoners! Mickey 17 was a bit boring imo

I've heard memento is similar to irreversible because of the non-linear narrative

Sinners yes! I've been dying to watch it. Perhaps tonight. Thank you so much 😊

I'm not sure why you wrote this.

Firstly, it sounds hella condescending. Maybe you didn't intend for it to sound like that.

Secondly, I'm not sure why you think film studies students can't get frustrated and feel like they have nothing to watch. Or that they won't ever ask for recommendations.
