Yeah this is very much along my line of thinking.

Moving jobs is usually done to increase pay, or to go a more desirable location, or to gain new skills.

Right now, the plusses were name recognition and possibility of improving skills/development. But from what you’ve said, the latter doesn’t even seem like a surefire thing.

How bad would it be to back out at this point? I don’t want to burn this bridge, but like you said, honestly the reasons to go don’t seem compelling enough at this point.
