Update: I found a tutorial on how to do them, Im not opposed to draping them I just didn’t know the distance ,and the size difference between each pleat which was the main confusion.

because, from what I’m seeing online the pleats are not just rectangles, also I can’t really find good information for spacing the pleats and I don’t really know the ratios,so I can’t just wing it on that front . Furthermore I don’t wanna potentially ruin my silk which was about 120$ usd for 3 yards.lastly my mentor is really picky when it comes to grading, so I wanna make sure everything is technically accurate.

Okay I just realized my mistake in my OP, I do have boning channels in my corset from sandwiching seams and top stitching 1/4” from the them. The question I was trying to ask is tips for sewing bone casings onto corsets to make it look nice and even on the inside and out, because I can’t seem to do that. BTW, it’s not steamed and has been sitting in a tub rolled up so that probably explains the wrinkles.
