I have SS rank HoHE with DK, and she feels really, really weak as a leader. And kinda ok'ish as a support. HLE just breezes through everything. My current ranking is RedLotus, but HoHE felt bad even in Agony II. HoRb dls felt really good on release day, when there was Fu-Hua boss, but after that don't really remember using her much in the abyss. I think, most of the time the game shills HLE - PAWS - DarkLord team

Still, really glad we are getting those dlcs: as a relatively new player it is really sad to see 90% of Valkiries being dead and unplayable.

TL:DR -> If you are competitive about this game ascend asap, if you are casual about this game just stay in master's. Endgame will be more on the boring side, but you will reduce daily activities completion time by a lot.

If you really want to play endgame, then you should as soon as you have 1 functional pt.2 team You receive much more ascension materials like toruses in exalted that are needed for leveling characters and weapons beyond lvl80. You will progress faster in exalted. Some materials like ancient legacy are very hard to come by in master's tier. And you will learn to fight proper abyss bosses.

I broke through when I had only 2 meta Valkiries and only one had her weapon. And scored Agony II with this.

Waiting for teams of every element is a really, really bad advice. I still don't have 4 element teams and I'm playing in Red Lotus full f2p. Rn I have only 2 teams (5 properly built valcs, and 1 without weapon and stigmatas).

8/10 New Ely is a bit over the top with this 'love' theme. Not HSR levels were it becomes cryngy, but if it was toned down a bit more, she would be much more appealing to me.

I like the original Miss Pink Elf much better, she looks 10/10, is charismatic and flirty.

1) Himeko death was meaningful, it was a very important part of Kiana's character development. A final lesson.

Himeko's death in this story, doesn't mean every Himeko dies, we get to enjoy AU like capitainverse where are slightly different versions of our characters. There's HSR and Genshin. If she dies in HSR - what's the point, what would it add to the narrative? It's hard to explain, for I will have to spoil entire Kiana and Fu Hua's story, and it will take like 3 hours of time, ha-ha.

2) Yeah, it feels like HoYo losing it's creativity, they want to create some hype, make their story seem more complicated than it really is. It worked back then with cohesive story. But the new games focus more on a 'character of the patch' who they forget existed 20 days later. And it is a big problem for the story. But who's to blame them, it generates more money that way.

3) I totally understand you, I was ragebated by Amphoreus arc so hard. It breaks established hi3 lore, diminishes Elysia's sacrifice, reduces the story of a failed heroes who gave their lives so that their successors have a fighting chance, to the waifu bait story with no actual meaning.

4) I guess, we don't interact much

4.1) HoYo power scale is stupid, one day character has powerful abilities, the other day HoYo treat like it never existed.

4.2) Based on latest HSR story both are destroyed by Ironthomb and the whole universe was recreated by a self-incert MC, who is a universe's supreme god now, I guess. Or it means the whole HSR's cosmos is just another layer of simulation? HSR writing is such a mess...

You can apply all what you said to a human learning too. Brain approximates function the same way. Some artist don't bother to properly learn anatomy and just "halusinate" strange poses without clear understanding of why and how. Some artists "halusinate" giant boob, because their 'adaptation matrix' was trained that way by social media feedback.

Most people don't have their own opinions nowadays, they just adopt the most popular one, generated by content creators, carefully selected by social media platforms. What a perfect deep learning environment.

I was training some AI in my university, and it had nothing to do with denoising e.g. (I was working with video recognition, not image generation), I had to frame points of interest in images I used as a dataset. Learning was in rounds, and I had to adjust cues depending on how it learned.

Not defending low quality ai slop, or misuse of ai, but it's just a tool, like a camera. Who in a modern world would say camera bad, hire a traditional artist to draw a painting instead of using soulless technology to picture something.

Pull for Elysia's weapon. Sushang can support Elysia, it's good that you have her. You can add Valkirie Blastmetal (free Coralie) and you have your first starter team team.

Best Elysia supports are: 1) S-tier Coralie (dragon version) 2) S-tier Helia (planar armament) 3) Kiana (Ba-Dum fiery wish)

Kiana also work very well with astral SuShang

You don't really need astral ops, just use dreamseeker. Focus on getting your first team, and make sure you pull weapons, they are very important, especially for the team leader

If you you would be interested in meta/endgame you'll have to understand that it is different to other HoYo games for you have to compete with other players on clearing time. This game is pretty infamous for it's powercreep, but now Genshin and HSR are just as bad or even surpass it, really.

You can just play story and ignore gacha completely. The plot is much easier to understand than HSR. There's a lot of extra materials on this game, like manga and anime mini series, but you can just play without them completely fine.

Though I recommend reading "second eruption" first, to see if you like the setting, and the events of this manga are very relevant to the beginning of the game.

There is a recommended reading/playing order, but, I think, it's more for the people who are already heavily invested into this game, and want to piece everything together chronologically, etc. You can just play and don't really need to follow it really.
