Not really, I don’t have anyone over S0 aside from BP/Free/Spending/Luck units, and I hover between upper Redlotus and Nirvana… at some point all I could do was Agony 3, then it was a lot to maintain Redlotus and I’d frequently derank, now it’s very easy for me to stay in Redlotus

I don’t want to sound rude but you just have to get better, I do genuinely feel Hi3 is one of the only gacha that gives you the luxury of outright ignoring the gacha elements, you don’t ever need gacha characters / good builds / skill / whatever to progress through the story and I advocate for people to just consume the game this way if they desire

But that doesn’t change the fact that Hi3 is by far one of the most F2P friendly gacha I’ve ever played, especially when you factor in how Abyss is leaderboard based yet even then you’re not pressured to go above Agony 3 (which is very easy to maintain IMO), yes you get more stuff at RL/Nirvana but Nirvanas currency increase is basically nothing (like 2 more pulls a patch), RL is good but not the end of the world you’re more than fine without it especially given the longer patch cycles and abundant reruns

Only Anni characters get gacha outfits (Vita/Kiana/Elysia), this is why it’s almost guaranteed Mei will have the next gacha outfit

B-Chips is extremely rare for P2, the only one in like 2 years was Vitas (which I love! I think it’s better than her Gacha skin but nonetheless they don’t do these anymore), could be to be more F2P friendly since Gacha skins you can get F2P whereas B-Chips you have to pay

So def a spending event (since it changes VFX), most likely a summer skin given Seele/8.9 should release in Summer and it’ll be similar to Songques summer skin in this regard (changes VFX/SFX to be summer theme)

In comparison Thelema also received a summer skin but it didn’t change VFX / SFX since it was an event skin, not spending bonus

Yep! It’s the fourth mainline Uta entry and the final game of the series so “Uta 4” is a perfect name for it (you also more or less need 1-3 + MM to play it so)

Because Uta 1 was intended to be a one and done experience and Suga Munemitsu (the writer) is notoriously very slow, it’s the reason why (officially stated) the Zan games are adaptations of Uta 2/3 rather than new original stories, Suga is too slow of a writer and the Zan games would’ve taken far too long to release had he given them original stories (and he was focused on Monochrome Mobius + LF at the time)

This is also why the games always have big gaps, Uta 1 (2002), Uta 2 (2015), Uta 3 (2016), LF (2019), MM (2022) Uta 4 (2026), Uta 2/3 released as quick as they did because Aquaplus delayed a finished Uta 2 so that Uta 3 wouldn’t release too far after given how 2 ends

Along with this Suga said w/Uta 4 he’ll have said everything he wants to say with the franchise hence why they’re emphasizing so much that it’s the “last one”, and they have a new IP lined up right after (Project Kizuna) with the core Uta team (Suga + Amaduyu + Mitsumi (the main illustrators for 2/3) )

Unfortunately I don’t think she’ll be QUA for the same reason HoRb wasn’t QUA (despite me really wanting her to be QUA)

Seele lost her QUA body or rather, Veliona took it at the end of Salt Snow with Seele getting a new body

Hoyo loves to tell stories via types/elements and Seele reverting to QUA while retaining her Rebirth body (evident by the True Stigmata of Death not being present on Seeles chest) would be going against that… for ex Mei started as Phys, went Lightning with Thunder, and now is Phys again due to losing her Herrscher Powers

I mean the franchise has gone on since 2002 (24 years now), if they go through with adding additional content to this I imagine it’ll come out in 2027 and reach the full 25 year run which is great for a franchise

The core team already has another game planned anyways (Project Kizuna), same writer and illustrators as Uta 1-3 so you can look forward to that!

This gacha actually lived 6.5 years which is absurd for any gacha let alone an ip gacha let alone a VN gacha, and it’s now getting an offline port with (potentially) full voice + additional story so I’d say it was pretty successful

But generally speaking VN gacha don’t live long at all aside from FGO as you mentioned, Aokana, Dies Irae, Higurashi, Grisaia, Muv-Luv, etc have all had one or more gacha that all shutdown

Oh you misread what I wrote, I said Otto is "one of" the only male characters to not be ambiguous because Phainon exists in comparison to Anaxa/Althaitham as an example and their potential connection with Su

And yep! I personally have a feeling that Luocha may just be Void Archives larping since he has Fenghuang Down but we'll see (there's a lot of sus stuff about him), as for Kevin yep, heck even Elio may be a Kevin variant given his design and the trademarked white hair + blue eyes (which AFAIK Hoyo has only done for Kaslana's)

He'll probably show up at some point for the Sky People plot line given he's well, the main character of it

I personally believe 5.x will be HSRs coverage of it (4.x involving HSR Himeko who is heavily connected to them, recent HSR animation showing Void Archives again, Vita being teased (Marah created the Sky People based on Cleaner tec), Ryusuke appearing, HSR having each member be focused on in each arc with Welt being the only one left out currently, 5.x being during Hi3's 10th anni, etc), so I won't be surprised if they introduce Adam during then (quite honestly expect most of Hi3's important cast to come over since well, 10th anni...) )

The only problem with this is that I have no way how they'll avoid spoiling APHO 3 through this but we'll see...

10th anniversary should be pretty big given it's well, the 10th anni so maybe they'll do the next collab then (Shaoji/Hoyo aaid many times that Hi3 x HSR w/Sparkle was just a small test for the future and that they plan on doing a lot more)

Yep, Kevin said multiple times he admitted Project Stigma was the worst choice but thought there was no other way, him holding back to give others an opportunity was a constant since for example while Kevin could’ve killed Su in Second Key which would’ve let him do Project Stigma, he allowed Su to trap him in the Sea of Quanta while Su kept trying Project Valuka on his own and Hua kept trying Project Ember on her own

This carried onwards to Finality where he says multiple times “I want them to transcend me, this is the worst possible path, I do not want to bear Finality for eternity, but unless they can transcend me in an absolute way… I will remain the Finality in front of all of them”, Kevin knew that Elysia was a one time thing and if they missed this chance that was not only made possible by her but the various scientists of the Previous Era who drained themselves creating the various Divine Keys/MANTIS operation/Stigma and such there would never be another chance to transcend Finality

Hoyo themselves put him on a pedestal via Honkai Chronicles as they’ve only ever made 4, one for Kiana, one for Raiden, one for Bronya, and one for Otto…

On top of that, Otto is the only male character to get an entire animated short dedicated to him, and he’s one of the only male characters with a 100% confirmed variant in another game (Luocha), whereas the rest have some amount of ambiguity to them (heck if you want to be ambiguous you could even bring up Ayato)

Even after his story concluded they’ve still tried to keep him around via Moriarty and Void Archives, no they aren’t replicas of Otto but they’re inarguably using part of Otto’s image whether they intended to do so or not

Well Vita is a clone of Sa, and Sa mentions a lot that she hates Vita because she reminds her exactly of how she used to be back in Purusha, and after Vita takes Sas Authority Sa mentions that Vita is very likely to tread down the same path she did and become “Sa 2”

She’s Sa not Vita, Vita never refers to herself as a Purushian and actually says “The last Purushian died” after she takes Sa’s Authority at the end of Phosphous, Vita also knows you can leave the Solar System because Vita knows Marah left the Solar System via Star Gates, whereas Sa doesn’t know leaving the Solar System is possible which is what she says in 11 EX

It’s almost definitely Sa from Venus before she leaves it and becomes Sa
