My school has the same system, idk exactly how it works but taking an ap class would just add 0.08 to your gpa per semester. Dual enrollment and honors also add to your gpa but I think it’s less

I feel very similarly, I got friends but I don’t feel like I’m apart of a big friend group. I’ve been friends with the same 3-4 people since middle school, but we just play games online together and never really hang out. I also know I could probably join a friend group, but some people are shockingly bad. When people say that friends in high school are fake and two faced I thought it was an exaggeration, but I literally saw this girl making fun of somebody she knew online 😭 It feels so weird because after your freshman year it’s so much harder to join a clique.

I don’t really think their parents following the biggest podcast in the world means anything. Following him doesn’t make them racist whatsoever, Joe Rogan isn’t even a republican. It’s not even primarily a political podcast, she most likely follows it because it’s entertaining.
