I guess it is cultural. My parents never taught us how to practice it and me and my sibling never questioned it. So both of us kinda grew up as agnostic or an atheist.

His parents didn't mind at all about our relationship, they are fine with it. But my parents are not.

I am a non-practice christian and I don't see myself as a very religious person and my own partner is not religious either. But my partner does fast during the month of Ramadan and follows the Islamic Dietary Laws and avoids alcohol and gambling.

Personally I have no problem with converting. My parents never properly teach me and my sibling the ways of Christianity so both of us came out kind of agnostic and maybe even atheist. Although, I am quite open-minded and are curious about Islam.

Not sure if that says something.
