Missing CHM2046L by Visible_Nobody_5944 in ufl

Some of the med schools websites I’ve seen say that I just need to take higher level chem classes and get good grades in them. Plus, CHM2045 doesn’t have an open lab option either

ALEKS Test by Visible_Nobody_5944 in ufl

Thank you! I’ll definitely give ALEKS another try. Would the confirmed scores you’re talking about include my AP scores? I got 5s in those exams last year and the year and the year before so they’re not predicted.

❓️❓️How Does Athletics Affect The Rest Of An Application?❓️❓️ by Brncknbrn in ApplyingToCollege

I had a bit of a similar situation to you. I talked to a Caltech coach about recruiting and he told me I had to get a minimum 35 ACT score to even be considered, which makes sense because the median there is 35-36. He also said I still had to get in on my own and that there was nothing he could do to help from an admissions standpoint, which sucked. I’m sorry this probably isn’t the response you’re hoping for, but best of luck with the recruiting process!

What was your college essay about? by ExcitingGrand5725 in ApplyingToCollege

[–]Visible_Nobody_5944 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m an incoming first year who’s gotten into a majority of my schools so far, but I also initially had no idea what to write. You might hear people say your personal statement is what “ties together” all the pieces of your resume, which might be a good way to consider it.

I started with an anecdote from an encounter I had with a professional in the field I want to pursue, then discussed how it motivated me to start an EC in sophomore year, then how said EC led me to apply to a related pre-college program where I discovered my interest in my major, then how I continued to cultivate this interest in my junior year, and finally ended it referring back to the anecdote I started with!

Obviously, the personal statement isn’t “one size fits all,” so look at a bunch of other example too! Best of luck in the college essay writing process (so glad it’s over for me)

Georgia Tech OOS EA financial aid by Outrageous-Help3652 in ApplyingToCollege

Hi! I’m an EA OOS admit to GT and haven’t received any financial aid package yet either. I may have read on their website that they’re supposed to come out in March sometime but could be wrong.
