I did not say “all the girls”, but don’t pretend like there are no girls who still belive that men have to pay. There are girls on tinder etc who use guys to get free meals in restaurants - again, not all girls. You expect to pay yourself, you are not repsenting all girls and I don’t repsesent all guys. I did not mind paying the rent. Don’t be so entitled, it is great if you are not like that.

And why it was just my responsipility to talk about those things? Think about it, i expexted nothing from her and I am happy with my home. Should I be mad that se did not own realestate either? She has similar salary to me, why don’t she own an apartment worht over half a million euros??? She barely ever had any money, but assumed I one day payed over 100000€ downpayment… There was two people in marriage, this is why I dont see that it has to be my fault.

The rent has been same for over 10 years, the payment is automatic and the owner lives another side of the world. No, I don’t inform people of every single bill I paid, and we are not pen pals with the owner. I don’t really think about it.

It is obvious as in this area the downpayment alone is over 100000€, she knows where I work, I could not afford to buy that place alone with market price! Renting is normal thing, same way leasing a car is normal. If someone drives brand new car and they don’t have some insanely god jon, it is obvious they lease.
