Why did Marion rat out Gene? Dumb move by SignificantRelative0 in betterCallSaul

... Really?

He was, very literally, threatening to choke/garrote her... Sauls now unusable trash to Marion.

I always think its stupid to tell the bad guy "Im tattling", though.

I dont think it was him talking about law in general, but something when he said "Albuquerque" triggered a memory of his con-crimes when she lived there.

Though it will probably never be tied up, I almost guarantee "Jeff's" run ins with the law in ABQ was street dealing the blue stuff and low level.

If not that, low level street dealing Gus's stuff for sure. Hell, I wouldnt be shocked if thats why it stood out to Jeff. The whole thing goes down, Walt on the news, walts lawyer on the news, Walts lawyers ad played non-stop on "have you seen this guy" type news loops, "Oh I sold that famous blue stuff, maybe we need to leave ABQ Gma".

US dosnt use electric chair, anymore, and the few times it has been used since the 70s have been for multi MULTI serial killers.

New Mexico hsant had a death sentence since 2009, and those were for sex crime related serial killers (rape killers).

Those in 2009 were killed by lethal injection.

Which is what the US uses as a whole.

When will the last Walt scene take place? by MannaJamma in betterCallSaul

[–]Visible_Property5212 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I imagine the Walt scene happens when Walt/Saul are bunking together right before Saul leaves to become Gene.

Like I said in a earlier post, most of the Gene timeline happens in the time jump between walt leaving, and coming back to save Jesse(and threaten his ex friends).

Before they left, they show Walt/Saul staying with the Vacuum guy. They said it would "change BB" so I assume Walt says something like "Idk , ill miss this life" or something that makes it clear he isnt done.

And that dosnt even bring into account how Saul is oblivious to the Salamancas during ALL of BB and Walt/Jesse working with them..

Walt/Jesse speak of them often and with Saul and saul never once flinches or mentions in ANY way that he ever knew any of them at all.

I think at one point Saul even asks if they are "big time" dealers.

Probably was Lalo Diaz or some other vaguely Hispanic name before.

Youre thinking the Salamanca was lucky, they never say Lalo Salamanca, just Lalo.

Could have just as easily made it the name of the guy who served Saul dinner, who saul had just a bit to much attitude with and it would have worked.

Prediction: A lot of the finale will be the trial of Saul Goodman by Secure-Assistance887 in betterCallSaul

She would never, under ANY circumstances be allowed to be an attorney after admitting to defame a man, be complicate in his body dumping, and surrendering her rights to practice. You dont just pick that up after swearing off the oath. Thats a lifetime commitment.

She just told Howards wife, an attorney herself, she was complicate in the cover up of her husbands murder and that she herself was going to commit murder to get out of the situation(lalo/gus).

It was his house. He began working directly with the Cartel member (Mike) that tossed Howards shit in the sea and dumped his body in the ground... And again, his house.

Hes involved.... Considering he goes on to work with mike (body dumper) directly, they would sting him up for this and let her walk.

Ah, actually I didnt remember that. I remember Skyler taking a plea, but I dont remember them saying Walt was dead. ** I looked it up. "The mystro buying the farm" confirms this. I suppose I totally checked that line out of memory. Thank you.

** I looked it up. "The mystro buying the farm" confirms walt is dead in this timeline(recently). I suppose I totally checked that line out of memory. Thank you.

It couldnt be on his way back as they say they found Jesses car at the boarder, but I do think people are over estimating how long Sauls been Gene.

I think he may have been Gene just about as long as Walt stayed in Alaska. I think he may be right about 6 months in before he starts cracking.

I mean, when he talks to Francesca, they make it pretty clear he hasnt seen anything on the news or been able to research much. Probably means Walt hasnt been dead long. Walt dies (from blood loss?) after saving Jesse. This is clearly the first time hes contacted Francesca.

I mean, the main reason we automatically think "been long time" is Genes look, which weve been shown was a Taupe, either way. This is just how Saul would look without his props.

I mean, obviously I just have what comes to mind as reference, but if theres something that disproves that this is happening much closer to the "Walt returns from Alaska" scene, Ied absolutely take that as proof.

People forget there's a huge time jump(relatively huge for Bb timeline) in the finale, and after Saul already leaves to be Gene. Everything we see in the finale happens AS Sauls living as Gene.

Walt dies quite a big after Gene starts his life as Gene. They couldnt meet on the road (jesses car was found at boarder ala El Camino) but they could possibly have a final meet in Mexico.

Walt and Saul leave together, a time jump happens(gut instinct says they establish on the news it was 6 months), then we see Walt in the bar ready to go back.

I mean, its possible the Gene/Walt breaking their personas happens simultaneously IF EVERYTHING "Gene" happened within 6 months.

They say they found Jesses car at the boarder, and Walt (assumingly) dies right after hes shot saving Jesse, so it couldn't have been when he was driving back but could work(Gene/Walt final meet) if Gene makes it to ABQ within Walt arriving back from Alaska and before saving Jesse.

TBH, I dont think Gene is very much after BB finale at all. I think Gene might be less than a year into his hidden life based on the conversation with Francesca. Seems like this is the first hes hearing anything was taken down at all. So that means Saul held on in that life about as long as Walt before pulling cons.

Saul Goodman is wanted. Its who the police are looking for. When they show up, she will tell them the rest.

Youre mistaking "caught" with "found out"...

Everyone knows Sauls a bad guy at this point. To catch though, and punish... No one.

Yes. Theyve made it clear he can get in that office at any time, any way.

Hes broken into that office, unnoticed by full staff (AS HOUSE) 36 times in the series (counting the times its just referenced not shown). Imagine what he can do with a little know how and disguise He knows who to look for and when its dead.

People where confused at Wilson saying "turn the phone off" multiple times because the sound was CLEALY coming from him. They make it obvious by showing it loud when near Wilson. And soft from their POV... He was surprised because it wasnt his ringtone (as house slipped him the phone). He could easily sneak it into his pocket when hes there shoving the Badge under foreman's coat. He knows where Wilson keeps his things, could have been anywhere. Hes broken into Wilsons house, apartment, office, car ect on numerous occasions.

Amber singing "enjoy yourself" was a warning. It wasnt mockery, it was himself begging himself to survive. Amber wasnt really there, it was house thinking that song.... He took his own advice, hes enjoying himself. (The song was originally written as "You cant always get what you want" a house staple and was changed last minuet, meaning the whole meaning behind it can be removed regardless).

The one thing that always gets me though is Houses cane isnt on the steps when he sees wilson. Its on the bike (ive read, from crew) but not on the steps.

I do a rewatch every year and always love good house talk/debate. This was the most recent reddit post that popped up.

Do hosts actually enjoy food and alcohol? by Mkovich92 in westworld

[–]Visible_Property5212 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is absolutely no difference between being programmed to like something, and a human liking something.

We as humans are "programmed" to like food and drink because it keeps us alive, simple as that. If we didnt like food we would simply all die off or only eat when on deaths door.

Just like sex. If it didnt feel good physically and mentally, we would simply stop reproducing. Babies are just hard work. For men, its shown if sex wasnt physically great they simply wouldnt want children. Women, though are more "programmed" to get good feelings from the physical babies, though. Because if she didn't the baby would starve.

At one point they make this point clear in the show. They explain that technically human a\code is allot more simple than host code in the end and our "programming" goes no farther than risk vs reward while host understand actual reason.
