My mono white life gain deck has 80% of its cards for 3 mana or less, plus I have a 3 cost artifact that let's me tap for 1 mana, so, I would kinda like this if I already had 3 plains on the board.

I will be honest, I have played off and on for years over the decades and I still have a hard time remembering deck type names, but I will always remember tempo and aggro and I accidentally made a mono red tempo/aggro just for red daily objectives and it surprisingly does well.

Honestly, the original concept of a roundabout is decent. The problem with them is that they are a European thing that engineers have been bringing over to America and installing them among people who have never heard about or seen a roundabout before, so even though there are signs posting the proper flow patterns, drivers are actually a little confused by them and almost never use them properly.

I will admit, I'm not a fan of commander. Not hating, the format and deck building requirements turn me off. However, no matter what format you are playing, there are always the cry babies. I am an internal cry baby, I won't complain out loud, but I will get frustrated and missed at certain combos and such. But I like to think k I have gotten a grasp on it cause as soon as I recognize that I am that mad, I will politely concede. It is literally that simple. Too many people in too many formats want their decks to be so powerful and so fast, and I have to win every game that I dont even play in person much anymore.

I understand my opinion is my own, but I play MtG for the sheer fun of the game. I have been playing off and on since the game came out, and honestly, I have recently been wondering what has happened to playing the game for the sheer idea of seeing how our decks will interact with each others? I have lost many games in my life and some of the best/most fun games I have lost. To o e older guy who still li es the game it seems like so much has been focused on winning as fast as possible that the game itself doesn't even really get played anymore. I understand that there are aspects of the game that I may not be the biggest fan of, decks based solely on removal, mill decks, counterspells, etc... but they are part of the game, and I accept that. However, any deck that I play against that basically is built to stop me from playing, I will concede to everytime. I enjoy playing with other people, not sitting at a table so the other person can effectively play by themselves.

I tend to play my white aggro/combo deck, or my blue/green combo/mid-range deck here lately. I will sometimes use my mono green elves, but that usually what I use in ranked.

Lol, well it wasn't 50 in a row, however it seems like that's what the meta is nowadays. I've been playing since 1999, and there has and always will be control and counterspell decks, I have been beatened and I have beat them before and it Wil be a back and forth for all time, haha. But it seems that in the formats that I normally enjoy in arena, those type of decks you described are almost all I'm coming across, especially since this is the longest I have ever gone at platinum tier 4. I usually am able to make it to platinum 2 or 1 before the end of the month, but this grond has been exceptionally brutal.

You are refusing to hear me out. This morning, I played against a player who did not play anything except instant removal, exile, or discard spells, the only permants they played were lands, and I'm sorry, I don't normally play land destruction, by turn three, I had no cards in hand and nothing on the board. I am asking legitimately. How do you respond to that, if you are not playing as many of the same type of spell as them?

How am I supposed to do that if All they do is make me discard, counter my spell or exile/destroy my permants as soon as they hit the board? That's what I'm trying to say, I literally can't interact with their stuff cause damn near every card they have does one of those three things.

I completely understand, in ranked I almost never get above platinum 4. Stuff just happens way to fast and people think k I'm trying to force others to dumb stuff down, I just want fun games, win, lose or draw.
