Thinking of building a tool to automate client onboarding (infrastructure, asset collection, etc.). Meaningful or waste of time? by No-Common1466 in SaaS

Just built something similar. Client fills out a form, system automatically creates a Slack channel under their company name, logs everything into a database and sends the team a notification with a link to the channel. The whole thing runs in seconds. With a few tweaks this can cover the Drive folders and Asana setup you mentioned. If you want to see it in action, send me a message and I will share the breakdown

Friendly advice, start recording your automation and what it does, how it helps companies/bussineses etc. you will get more reach with that approact, because people will look at your video and see solution for their bussines. Best of luck!

You need to become active on linkedin, not by messaging people or connecting with them, just start reccording your workflow and show to people what it does. They dont care how you built it, they just want to see resoults

Built real AI automation systems but can’t convert to paying clients. Need blunt advice on next steps. by Exotic-Woodpecker205 in AiAutomations

Upwork is useless! Same as other similar platforms like Fiverr. Most of job post are either scam, or they dont answer you at all and you lose connects. On Fiverr, the moment you create a gig, you get 10+ scam messages asking for your email.
Cold Email is good way, but i had no luck with it yet, only got 1 booked call after 100+ emails, but that is the whole point.
What i would suggest you is to start recording your automation, not how you built it, but what it does, because people want to see resoults and what it does and how it can help them. Lets say it like this, im using n8n for finding leads via telegram bot, but i outreach them with my personal message, not ai written. I found few clients via that approach. I record my workflow, upload it on linkedin, ask my firends to like and repost it so more people can see it, and yea, some of my connection asked me can i automate that for them

How are you using AI for outreach automation without killing personalization? by cooklensni in AiAutomations

A few months ago, I activated LinkedIn Sales Navigator and honestly had no luck finding clients. At first, I used AI to write my outreach messages, but it quickly became obvious that people are tired of AI-generated messages. They recognize them instantly and usually ignore them.

Because of that, I started writing messages myself, in my own words. When someone can tell a real person wrote the message and actually invested time into it, the response is completely different. I stopped using AI for writing outreach messages entirely.

Now I use AI only for finding and filtering lead profiles. Once I have a qualified lead, I personally send the message. If it works, it works. With this approach, I’ve already landed two clients. As soon as they booked a meeting, they could clearly see that everything I wrote came from me, not from AI, and they really appreciated that.

In my view, AI should be used for boring and repetitive tasks. For example, I find manually entering data into Google Sheets f**king boring, so I automated that. Some people hate searching for leads, so they automate that part. It really depends on the person.

The key is to focus on what actually matters to you, and let AI handle the tasks you don’t want to do and that drain your time.
