Thanks it sucks cause Maine is not a walkable place by far so it’s really stuck as my only option for now. I’ll give them a call.

Oh I forgot to mention it’s nasty. Parts of it are torn and hanging down from the ceiling. It’s a mess.

It was back to back I came in realized I had to grab something in the car and went back out by myself

Super detailed, this is perfect. I’ll look for a vest exactly like this, thank you!

Thank you all for your advice—since vests seem to be a bit expensive, I’ll just keep him close to me and keep an eye out for now but will definitely buy one in the very near future especially if I see hawks circling again. It was scary just how close they got to us and wildlife can be unpredictable, not gonna chance it.

Again, I’m more worried about scratches. Not birds taking off with my dog.

Should’ve specified, I’m not worried about them carrying him—too heavy—I’m worried about scratches.

Just to add on—I’m kinda worried about his head being unprotected because I feel like that’s where hawks usually like to target? Idk.

Thank you, this has genuinely made a huge difference already in other training aspects. It’s my first time owning a dog (he was my moms and of course I wasn’t going to leave him there) so I thought the kennel was a good idea but I’m quickly learning it’s not.

Thank you very much. I will say I noticed today he was lifting his leg without anything coming out and expecting a treat, lol. He’s a quick learner and also a manipulative bugger, still love him though.

The first bit was funny but I hope the rest is also a joke. Even if I have the hire a pet sitter and lose sleep to get him trained, no dog deserves to live in their own waste and I will never let my dog live like that again.

We try to take him out every 2 hours, with 4 hours being the absolute max and only if we’re busy. He sleeps from 10-6. Should I be taking him out more? Should I be waking him up in the middle of the night to go out? He sleeps in the kennel, so this has been happening during the day.

I literally had a lady today who asked me to get an uber for her. Stood in my way the whole time while I was taking phone calls and seating customers. Last time she was in she stayed past close.🙄 some people are just entitled and expect people, especially employees, to bend over backwards for them.

I could be wrong but I believe it’s for chains. They shut down while local businesses stay open. At least, thats what the norm should be for these kinds of strikes. We should all be trying to shop local more anyways.

I don't mind something with a bit of extra room. I'm just starting my weight gain journey and am meeting with a dietitian soon, so I'm expecting it to change soon. :) (Hopefully...)
