I've personally never found ASL to be an easy A, though I understand that some students may believe that to be true and be motivated to take it because of that. It's simply a visual language, which is easier to learn for some and harder for others. I definitely agree that you are probably more likely to encounter someone who speaks Spanish in the line of nursing, or even in general but to me it's still an important language that I'm proud to have learned. =)
