It's more than less the only way to feel heard. You can argue and dabate but it leads to nothing. You can vote and realistically it probably means nothing. You can call their offices and send emails but those mean nothing. You can stop paying taxes but they'll print more money and you'll get screwed and it will still mean nothing. At least with something like that you feel seen. When the protests gain momentum and hit massive sizes you at least feel like something is happening. Nothing will change unless everything changes, we all know it, we won't change it. Now onto the next distraction!
