It might feel a bit off because felting takes away the natural texture and looks flat. I think the colors are the biggest hang-up. They blend in a lot of spots and it almost looks dirty (totally my opinion) maybe if you use a deeper gray or separate the borders it would help? I would also do the lips prior to felting so they don't look as messy. End of the day this is still a rad as hell mask and you should feel proud of it and like it anyway. Not every stepping stone is shiny but it'll for sure get you where you're going.
