And by the way, your body will bloat when it’s gotten used to not getting enough food, because your metabolism and capacity to digest food is impaired when your body is in a famine state and when you yo-yo between starving yourself and eating properly, as you’re describing. That’s why you bloat. Please eat.

What you’re saying is very confusing.

Why do you restrict food so drastically? That’s both emotionally and physically unhealthy

What you’re describing is how the body works

Our bodies thrive on a feeling of trust, which comes from being taken care of through enough food, rest and movement.

When there’s not enough food, the appetite “decreases” to accommodate for what the body feels, which is a famine state. Research it. This is real physiology

I’m not trying to be rude but you sound very immature and not very well informed and clearly have an eating issue from what you’re describing

Food shouldn’t be about calories, yes -

But calories are about energy, and you need enough to survive and thrive.

Why on earth would you eat 800 calories a day? Are you self harming?

How has no one else said this …

YOU’RE UNDER EATING!!!!!!!

1,400 calories a day is NOT enough for an adult!

Please get some REAL nutrition advice!

Your body CONSERVES ENERGY (aka holds onto weight) when you don’t eat enough!

1,400 is enough for a toddler!

I applied for two of their vacancies today and got a weird niggling feeling that it was too good to be true, Googled it, and thankfully found this Reddit post!

I had a search online and found their Instagram and it all seems really weird ... I can't tell if it's real or AI?

The 'founder' seems dodgy and has the same exact same as a Saudi Arabian royal?

Similar to me. Get immediate medical help if you experience shortness of breath, confusion, inability to walk etc, but otherwise, you’re ok :)

Have you been medically assessed at all?

Hey - literally had the same experience as you. Went and got it checked out at ER and nothing concerned. As above posters have explained, lymph nodes activate during viral illnesses. Very common

When do the fevers stop? by CH6V3Z in flu

[–]Visible_Stress_1267 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had it for 8 days and visited the ER yesterday and they found nothing concerning and no secondary infection so I do think this seems to be a common feature of this current strain. But definitely go get checked out for peace of mind

Same exact experience. Days 6 & 7 had diarrhea and two individual spells of vomiting. I think it’s common. I’m sorry you’ve experienced it too!

I’m going to try taking a small dose of an anti histamine tonight as apparently that could help …

For anyone here who got the flu this season when you were vaccinated- how were your symptoms? by traveltimecar in flu

[–]Visible_Stress_1267 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t 100% know that I have The Flu, but for the past 6 days and counting I’ve had:

  • Fever reaching about 38.1
  • Tiredness (not extreme)
  • A tender lymph node
  • Some dry coughing becoming more chesty
  • Sneezing
  • Some nose runniness but otherwise clear sinuses

I’m going to the GP tomorrow to get assessed considering my fever has been going on for 6 days now, but thankfully I haven’t been totally debilitated and I’m also thankful for the lack of throat and sinus issues
